Some of you may remember my lucky break on The Price is Right three years ago, but you may not know I was actually on another show as a wee little lad of just 11 years old...
It was my first exposure to live-to-tape television, so a lot of myths about the show were dispelled immediately--I had no idea they weren't live, that they did 5 shows in a day, and that the commercial breaks didn't actually play the commercials. (What do you want, I was a 7th-grade kid at the time!) One of the contestant coordinators had a spring loaded "Wheel" keychain that had a spinning wheel on which we all took a turn spinning...I think I hit Lose a Turn.
