Hey guys,
So there may be a lot of confusion over the events of the past day on this site. As your humble admin, I feel that you deserve to know what's been going on...mostly because there was an awful mess to clean up.
Jon's contract to run the site, along with my own, expired at the end of the day on the 31st. Since we were unable to negotiate an extension in time, our benefactors chose to instead install a pair of replacement admins, who, of course, replaced all of my staff with their own. Meanwhile, the real us were locked in negotiations all day. The Advisors are a nasty bunch.
We all saw how well that worked out.
Fortunately for all of you, Jon and I have just successfully secured a long-term extension, so we're back. The rest of the staff should begin returning shortly. Additionally, we have been reassured by our benefactors that this will never happen again.
As such, we say goodbye to the replacement staff, and welcome back the real staff...though I'm not gonna lie, the replacement me was kinda cute.
