Wheel-Inspired Pub Quiz

Well, not exactly, but you'll see what I mean.  Thought it was a funny coincidence at the time.  (Mods, if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it.)

A few hours after my second-round Wheel audition, I went to a pub quiz with a few friends.  This is the same pub quiz some former Jeopardy! champions play.  The first round handout, which we had the entire first round to do (~45 minutes), was the names of historical figures without any consonants.  It's your job to fill in the missing consonants.  Bearing in mind I was still very much in "Wheel" mode when I got there, this was right up my alley.

The years listed are the years the person lived.  To beat me and my team, you'll have to miss no more than 4 (we missed 5).  A word of note: the quizmaster is British, and says he found this by his grandfather's bedside table after he died.  So if you have no idea on a particular one, a Brit may not be a bad guess.
