I meant to share this a while back, but now that we have this fancy new image uploader... For those of you who have never been to a taping with Jim Thornton, sometimes he'll give out dollar bills he's signed. When I went to a taping a while back, I managed to snag two of them--one for knowing Chuck Woolery originally hosted Wheel, and the other for knowing what a beta tape was. He had said something like, "We used to work entirely on betas, anyone remember those?" I stuck my hand up, and he stuck one of these in my hand! The backs are not signed, but in case you can't see, one of them says "Great Adventures Week 1/14-18/13".

Wasn't sure what a "beta tape" was, but Jim's quote indicates that it's Betamax.
Also, dolla-dolla bills y'all.

When I answered "Chuck Woolery," Jim looked up and asked if he had done that question before--I bet he was saying under his breath, "How does that kid know that?"

Yes, and it's technically a federal crime. Though Jim's not doing it to make said currency unusable, so the feds prolly really don't care. They have better things to do.

Isn't that defacing currency? Yes, and it's technically a federal crime. … Actually, no. Defacement of CurrencyDefacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. … Though Jim's not doing it to make said currency unusable, so the feds prolly really don't care. They have better things to do.
