So according to this: www.wtnh.com/generic/entertainment/wheel-of-fortune-quiz , the show's current number of categories is 46 (though it obviously didn't have just 6 when the syndicated version premiered). I've been trying to narrow down possibilities to an exact 46 count, but I always end up at either too much or too little depending on what I include or not.

First, these are all the categories Pat reads off in the most recent video game, counting derivatives and plurals:

One of the choices for Question 6 is Summer Bartholomew, and mentions that she filled in for Susan, so there's that.

Stated answer: T. Real answer: Nobody knows, as her first audition episode isn't around. Not as bad as that one newscast that promised "the first letter ever turned on Wheel" and gave us the first one Vanna turned on her first permanent show, though...

One of the choices for Question 12 ("How much do vowels cost?") is $200. No mention is made of the fact that it was right for a brief time on the daytime show in 1989-90.

The price of a vowel hasn't changed in 40 years. It's still a bargain at $250.

Assuming they do (*snrk*), two things:
1) They're just as low-quality and effort-avoiding as the rest of the show. :effort:
2) They're not doing their jobs.

While I agree with most of your statements Dan, you've got to know that not everyone runs a Wiki that is entirely devoted to the show. And it doesn't look like someone that is officially with the show made this quiz.

One could argue that if someone with the show made this quiz, they would have quite a database to work with assuming the staff keeps records about these kinds of things, but you also have to admit that for a quiz put together by someone who just works at a local affiliate that broadcasts the show, it's pretty good considering the mis-information that the official show puts out there.

Fair enough. My only real, true beef (and the only really headdesk-worthy thing in there, I think) is the "Wollery" thing.
