What categories would you create for the show? For me, I would include categories about history and trivia.

On serious terms...
Before During & After: Like Before & After but with three phrases linked by two common terms
On The Web: Internet-related puzzles
Sports: Self-explanatory
Who's That Artist?: Like What's That Song?, but you have to name the artist or band who originally sang the lyric for the bonus, not the song title

^ That last one would be problematic. Some songs have been cut by lots of people. I remember a 1992 episode with YOU ARE THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS, and Charlie asked which singer made it famous. They were going for Bette Midler, but I wonder what would've happened if he'd said Gary Morris instead.

Related TV Shows- have two show titles that are related. Either because it was a spin off or a certain actor played in both. Created by the same person, was on the same network...etc. a player gets bonus money for telling how they are related
Name the decade- give an event, movie, song, tv show etc and the contestant for bonus cash names the decade
Common bond - have three puzzles that are related somehow and have the contestant guess the common bond for bonus money (like tri bond board game)
Historical headline- a made up headline about a historical event. (Happened before 1950s)
World Wide Web- Internet related category
The human body- category mainly used for toss ups and bonus round because of its small length puzzles.
Americana- anything that deals with America (mainly a person, place, thing, event)
These are my suggestions. Not sure if any are good ideas.

I don't have any ideas for new categories -- I'd bring back about half a dozen or so classic categories and shove all the stupid Trip Puzzles into something like In The Brochure or Gramatically-Correct Sentence.
