Okay, so, if any of you subscribe to me on YT, you know I put a video up last year of all of the $100,000 winners (and the million dollar win) I had been able to find on YT or anywhere online for that matter, a big thanks going to Wayo for many of the clips!  Just recently, a user commented on the video saying he had VHS tapes that had clips of winners that hadn't been posted on YT (or anywhere else), including Babbette Dominguez and Bob Griese's big win from NFL Week '06. He said he would mail them to me, but I told him I have no means of transferring VHS to my computer as I don't have a DVD recorder or anything else. Would anyone else who has the means of transferring VHS to a computer be willing to receive the tapes and do the transfer and send them to me so I can make another compilation video? (I'm not going to do another until the current season ends.) If you would, let me know here or via PM and I'll let you know how to contact him. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks! |

Looking over the comments, the user is " MsKingkog". I'd be interested in that user's overall game show collection, myself. Watching the video, I'm reminded of why Rich Fields didn't work for Wheel -- he used the subdued announcing style from Flamingo Fortune and his early years on Price (Seasons 32-34ish), rather than the over-the-top style he used on Price from Seasons 37ish-38. I'd say it was because his $100,000 spiel was dubbed in over Charlie's (itself a problem), but Rich sounded like that when he was actually in the studio. (Actually, the announcers have sounded like they were done in post-production since about Season 27, which really needs to stop.) |

Got a reply from him today:
"I do have few guest star episodes if your interested. I have the episode where Ellen comes on Deal or No Deal but if you don't want that, I have the full episode when Tyra Banks was on The Price Is Right was Bob Barker was still hosting. but i'll continue to see what else I have and let you know..."
For me, the only ones I'm interested in are the $100k clips; I don't know about anyone else. I just hope someone can get those for me. I would really appreciate it!

Not to drift away from what you're looking for, but could you ask specifically what episodes of Wheel he has in his whole collection?

As far as I know, that is all he has. He didn't specifically say what $100k clips he had; but what I took from it was he didn't have any full Wheel episodes. He said he was going to double check and make sure, though.
