I'm impressed. I paused that puzzle for a good 3 minutes to figure out what the hell it was. WORKOUT is not a word in my vocabulary. Only way it could've been better is if she'd gotten TU2.

Just about everything went Autumn's way tonight & there were a few moments where it looked like it wasn't gonna happen:
1. Billy was closing in on that Chevy Sonic in the JR, but Bankrupted out late 2. Autumn bought a dud vowel of I midway in the MR, but control immediately moved back to her 3. The BW was THIS close to moving to the I in WIN 4. I hope they'll let her keep that WC as a souvenir, because that ultimately won her the million- without that G using it, she probably wouldn't have pulled off the bonus puzzle. She didn't need that entire BGHO combo!
For the record, I got my first look at the final BR puzzleboard several hours ago & initially thought the second word was CIRCUIT, but about a min. or so later, I managed to solve the bonus puzzle.
Nothing against Pat, but I would've sold the $1M win w/ a lot more enthusiasm (& done a little tease before revealing the envelope) & I probably would've lost my voice screaming "You won a million dollars!!!!!!!!!" multiple times. I hope the NYC players won't be so harsh on Autumn for taking most of the air out of this season's road trip (& the fact that they actually ended this season's tapings w/ a record 14 BR losing streak). Once again, I congratulate Autumn Erhard on becoming the NEW "Wheel" queen (& biggest female syndicated winner ever)!!!
Have to give it a 10!

^ I dunno, I like how Pat played it cool. That was one thing I liked so much about the last win, was how direct and laid back Pat was with the reveal.

Given everything that Bobby outlined above, the fact is she pulled out two great solves (I was still lost on the speedup, and the BR goes without saying) that the million was more than a just reward for her.

Nice on the million! Had I not been spoiled, I thought she wouldn't have solved it without the O. Remember not too long ago we had that puzzle with DAILY where the contestant lucked into the W and O thinking (incorrectly) it would be WORLD.

This episode had a surprising amount of twist & turns to end up with this ultimate result. Consider:
-Billy has a fairly simple themed puzzle in R1, knows JUNE, yet still doesn't know it somehow (I hope he wasn't going for it with a full car). Now Autumn did so well the rest of the way it's true she could have sustained this "hit", but perhaps the mindset changes and it doesn't pan out exactly the same way for the rest of the game.
-Dud vowels were key in R2 & R3. Autumn actually lost her turn with the million on one, but spin patterns ended up helping her greatly: white then black in R2, and Ashley bought her dud vowel on red 800 next to white, and Billy ended up hitting the same black again. I actually find this pretty damn lucky.
-The WC ended up avoiding a nada and probably leapfrogged her towards the close to insta solve. I'm fairly certain she doesn't get it without the G.
Autumn's last three solves overall were pretty high quality, so congratulations and hopefully she uses the ~550k+ net earnings well.

As most, I was spoiled about the big win before hand, but I didn't spoil myself on the BR puzzle. OH.MY.GOD! How DID she get that? I had no clue except for TOUGH. I was shocked simply because she solved that! (If I were her, it would have been easy for me; my vowel would have been an O...) She certainly deserved that win with a solve like that! Way to go, Autumn!!
10/10!!

Great episode at first i thought she would not solve it!!! But she did and congrats to Autumn for being millionaire # 2!
Also i know that if a contestant wins the million he/she may choose to have the money paid out over 20 years or a lump sum of i believe $660,000 If im wrong correct me.
I do have one question: if a contestant won the million does anyone know if their winnings are added to the $660K?

I got lucky enough not to be pre-empted due to weather concerns (I'd already missed Final Jeopardy earlier in the afternoon to tornado warnings). Still, the over-spoilage done by the Wheel production staff really killed the buzz - I'm really happy for Autumn, don't get me wrong, she played well, but viewers should be pleasantly surprised when wins like this come around and not already have just about every possible detail days in advance.

Since Billy was my childhood nickname, I was glad Mr. Logwood was able to get himself a little something. As for Autumn, she's the show's second millionaire yet the show's biggest winner.
Autumn is also the first millionaire since the following: The debut of Free Play The bonus round's minimum increase at the start of season 28 When Jim Thornton became announcer (I'm sure Charlie O'Donnell is proud of him) The debut of the Half-Car tags The rule changes for prizes and tokens now offering $500 And, my favorite, the return of $650!
Now, tonight's big win, along with the rule changes for the prizes and bonus prizes since the last win, could beat the amount season 26 gave away, despite the recent bonus round fiasco in New York.
And in case you were wondering, yes, I was indeed able to get tonight's bonus puzzle. I really wanted to get this one since I didn't get LEAKY FAUCET 4 1/2 years before.

Well, thanks to Wheel spoiling the show and moving it from its originally-scheduled date of tomorrow, I had no interest in watching this. Retro clip was edited to replace the '83 puzzle-solve cue with the current one, and this apparently isn't the first time. Yay. Dafuq was with the Round 1 puzzle? Those are arguably Events, and even then that puzzle shouldn't have been used...except the numbers of those months total 30, so hur hur it's themed! There's Mayan ruins in Belize? Bonus puzzle was arguably difficult, but Autumn pulled off the huge win! I just wish her win could've aired without the show spoiling it and never shutting up about it. Kinda mad that nobody mentioned her grand total on-air (except Jim, but that may have been post-production) nor the fact she's now Wheel's biggest winner. You know this is coming, but $1,020,050 cash was grabbed, pilfered, snatched, taken, removed, and pretty much mugged from Friedman's wallet tonight -- an increase of $985,000 from May 29's total! And the total takeaway, compared to 5/29, is an increase of $986,744!This article went up about 18 minutes after the episode aired in the West. Quote from Harry... Friedman, you and I both know that's not true. It's why you approved things like WILDLY HAPPY GUY and FINICKY BABY for bonus puzzles. Your optimal Bonus Round strategies for May 31 (bka May 30), 2013:* Modern (2013): GWKO(H) * Classic (N/A): None was shown, ergo nothing here In the battle of CDMA versus BGHO (modern only), tonight's winner is BGHO with five letters versus CDMA's zero, the "take a third option" FGHI's two, the "trolling combo" WKYI's two, and the "Super Mario(GS)" BPYO's three.

R1: Wheel considers time periods (days of the week, months of the year) Things, but they really should be Events, IMO... I remember an episode from around 2001 where a Next Line Please puzzle was THIRTY DAYS HATH (HAVE?) SEPTEMBER and the contestant who solved it guessed "April, March, and November". R3: I had JAPAN until RUINS came to me, which then brough MAYAN, of course. I was hoping for a big PP trip again... BR: Amazing solve! I didn't spoil myself of the puzzle. If only people didn't blab, I probably would have been floored if she did the impossible without me knowing ahead of time after a solve like that. I bet Jim is glad he finally got to say that. Thank you, audience (well, some of you), for actually reacting decently to the MDW hit. The reaction to the envelope was also much better than the first $1M win. It was still sweetened, but not nearly as much as before (though it was obvious those audience shots were separate. Nobody looked genuinely happy in them...) These were the posts I saw that went up the same day this was taped, with any names censored for their protection...I should note that these posts were public, meaning that one did not need to be their friend in order to see them. I find it really sad that no million win on Wheel will ever take us by surprise because there will always be someone (whether it's staffers, Buzzerblog, or the show's PR) who has to tell people to watch a certain day... Way to go, Autumn! Rating: 10/10

TU2: I was worried that Billy would get locked out; good thing he got it, though. R1: Aww man, that was a painful Bankrupt for Billy. Autumn did alright here. R2: Whoa, Autumn barely held on to the little green sliver. Lucky break for her, too, as she got her turn back. Regardless, a great round for her, as she not only wins the Arizona trip, but she also locks in that Million Dollar Wedge! R3: Man, the Wheel's just been brutal to Billy. Another nice round for Autumn, though. BR: I was able to get this with the RSTLNE. I started getting worried for Autumn after she didn't get much help from her picks. Good thing she had the Wild Card, though. Whoa, what a solve! And with that, AUTUMN'S A MILLIONAIRE!! I'm so happy for you, Autumn! Congratulations! GREAT episode tonight! Everything just fell into place for tonight's big win. Autumn had just the right amount of spin power, the right amount of luck, a couple of good rounds, and she pulled off an amazing Bonus Round solve! Perfect 10 from me as well.

I love how they mention May 31, since they didn't expect (and had no real reason to think) the show would move it. Looking at some Facebook and YouTube comments, I have a suspicion that Wheel rescheduled it not for better audience visibility, but because THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /hey, I said "THIRTY" 30 times in that last paragraph! //and used 30 exclamation points at the end of said paragraph! ///and used three more of those two-digit numbers in these slashies! ////get the theme yet?!

This episode's truly one for the record books!
R1: Billy should've solved immediately after picking up the second 1/2 of that Sonic. But no, he had to press on...
R2: Autumn was lucky to have gotten her turn after both her opponents hit a penalty space. And she'll be going to AZ!
R3: Another great round for Autumn.
R4: Lucky buzzer-beating solve by Autumn!
Bonus Round: Thank goodness for that WC! It really saved Autumn's bacon big time! Major congrats to her on becoming the second-ever millionaire! I had it w/ the RSTLNE. I wish those promo people learn from their big mistake of spoiling grand prize wins including that one.
MY EP. RATING: perfect 10 of course!
