I love how they mention May 31, since they didn't expect (and had no real reason to think) the show would move it. Looking at some Facebook and YouTube comments, I have a suspicion that Wheel rescheduled it not for better audience visibility, but because THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY THIRTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /hey, I said "THIRTY" 30 times in that last paragraph! //and used 30 exclamation points at the end of said paragraph! ///get the theme yet? Well played, sir.

My my my...what a show. Let's skip the middleman and get to the finished product (although, R1 totally should've gone to Billy if had figured it out). While Wheel spoiled this out the whazoo, it was still such a great moment, especially considering how little of the puzzle was revealed. Great job, by Autumn. One of the best performances in a while. And then...this happened: Come on, Wheel. You do all this spoiling and you couldn't even get a good reaction shot to a 2nd time in history moment? Price gets better reaction shots from someone winning one thousand freaking dollars. In any case, a Million Dollar Win is always welcomed.

Well, what's to say about a $1-million win...
I think, among all the things that had to line up correctly for this big win to happen, most amazing of those was that the Wild Card ended up being critical for solving the BR. So here's a little tribute to the Wild Card... for all the times you get Bankrupted, or left behind because your holder didn't win the maingame, or brought to the BR only to be used on a letter not in the puzzle, or even for the letter to be in the puzzle but the contestant was still unable to solve the puzzle... congratulations, Wild Card. You just won a contestant one million dollars. Your existence has now been fully justified.
Even with that, though, that was an insane BR solve. I figured out the first word with that G, but I would have needed the O to work out the second word. That Autumn didn't need the O and could figure it out like that was amazing, and she totally deserves winning the big one.

Luckily, I hadn't seen much of the "spoiling" up to this point, so I still had a genuine level of surprise in watching the recorded episode. Congratulations to Autumn on her $1 million "tough (not-so-for-her-anyway) workout"! Great episode -- I think I'll watch it again tonight.

Great episode at first i thought she would not solve it!!! But she did and congrats to Autumn for being millionaire # 2! Also i know that if a contestant wins the million he/she may choose to have the money paid out over 20 years or a lump sum of i believe $660,000 If im wrong correct me. I do have one question: if a contestant won the million does anyone know if their winnings are added to the $660K? As far as I can tell from the pre-show contracts and my prize form from after the show, each prize is categorized as it's own thing - so you would get the $660 for Bonus Cash and then everything from the main game itemized as its own thing. So she'll end up with about $690 in cash and prizes, if she takes the cash instead of the annuity. And then...this happened: One thing to consider on this is that much of that audience includes the other contestants' families. My mom told me that when they moved my family in the audience to get them better positioned for the introduction shot, the husband of the girl I was playing against looked pretty bummed. That may explain why some of people aren't nearly as enthused - they are the family members of other contestants and it's the "why does SHE get it and not my husband/wife/etc" attitude. (mods - I forget how to merge posts )Push the "edit" button to add to your post, Kate.

And then...this happened: Come on, Wheel. You do all this spoiling and you couldn't even get a good reaction shot to a 2nd time in history moment? Honestly, I'm thirty pretty sure that was done at some other thirty point -- there's clearly some thirty dubbing/sweetening in there, which Wheel does even if the Culver City audience is somewhat thirty decent. Mind you, the fact thirty both were done in this case only makes Wheel more like a thirty primetime network game show. Price gets better reaction shots from someone winning one thousand freaking dollars. Not exactly -- they tend to do pretty much the same thing in regard to dubbing and not-done-at-the-same-time audience shots, except now they seem to be doing "reaction shots" before reveals, which looks fony and phorced.

Yes, Price sweetens their audience just as much as Wheel, if not more, except they just re-use sounds from actual audiences while Wheel just uses stock sound effects. However, on Price's recent kids special, I could plainly hear that stock sound effect of kids playing/shouting that's used in a lot of cartoons during any parts where the audience was shouting suggestions at the players.

I tell you, Autumn has made history. She had to be the luckiest contestant on the show. Nothing more to say. I rate it a perfect 10 as well.

At least Price finds a good reaction to place in, even if it isn't from the moment actually happening. They want people to see the show as exciting, even over the smallest (in comparison to $1 Million) amount won. If I was directing or Harry, I would immediately find a cue card, turn it on its back, and write "STAND UP!" on it and show it to the audience. That shot of the audience was a piss-poor showing for such a monumental showing. You'd think Wheel had spoiled the MDW to the audience before it had happened, the way that shot looked.

Um, is it just adjusting to my viewing history, or is Wayoshi's video of the win on the front page of YouTube? Comments seem to be pouring in by the minute. Quick, Wayo! Link this recap in the beginning of the description for a great publicity opportunity! And congrats on all the views you're getting!

Link this recap in the beginning of the description for a great publicity opportunity! And congrats on all the views you're getting! It isn't just you. I went to YT on another computer, not signed in, and lo and behold, there it was. Hearty Congrats to Wayo. That video almost has 295K viewers. It makes sense though. Since Wheel seemingly refuses to utilize their YT channel like Price, Wayo's video was the 1st (and probably for a while the only) one on YT that was clear and not a camera pointed at a TV. And since it was linked on Buzzerblog and probably in a whole bunch of other articles online, the views keep pouring in. Quick search shows that TIME, FOXNews, People Magazine, Radar Online, and Gawker have linked Wayo's video in articles about the win. Gawker actually linked Wayo's other video with the gameplay leading up to the bonus round. Also, Wheel did indeed upload their own video of the bonus round (one of nine they've uploaded), but it currently has around 44K views compared to Wayo's 295K.

Nearly 450K views now (so that's like 200K MORE in 3 hours). Hot damn, Wayo, I told you 2nd video uploaded usually wins. Though I do regret estimating the view count at like 4,000 today, lol. I'm not impressed a lot, but Wayo, I am with you. Well done, sir. For the image evidence, this is Wayo on the front page of Youtube. I just had to keep what was below Wayo's video, when cropping. It's a subtle point that some of you will get, I'm sure.

Yeah, Wheel's upload is only in 240p...really? You've been in HD since 2006 and that's the best you can do?
Way to go, Wayo!

JIM: "Step aside PSY, there's a new sheriff in town! One Million Viewers!" (Yes, I know, PSY has one BILLION viewers, but that's the first thing that came to mind) Plus, WOF probably got some crappy YT converter and ripped Wayo's video

Now as some of you mentioned, the Wild Card helped her. The one thing I forgot to mention that this was also the first Million Dollar win where the Wild Card was used, and boy, what a first timer it was because was it needed! Might as well be the first time that only the Wild Card letter helped someone become a millionaire! I also remember that earlier this season, Vanna said she could feel that they were going to give away $1,000,000 to someone this season. She was dead-on right!
