Hi, everyone! I've just been promoted to (or just tacked another name on to my title  ) Social Media Consultant for BAV. We already have a Facebook page; had it for awhile, but it's been mostly dormant. In fact, we only have 99 "likes." But, I hope that is all about to change! Along with Facebook, we now have a Twitter, Google+, and Instagram! Ignore the Tumblr link at the bottom of the page as we're gonna do away with it, according to cu. I'll be posting the links to the sites, so those who have these accounts start liking and following and spread the word! And, check every day for trivia, history, fun facts, and a daily puzzle for you to solve! It is my hope that this will draw more people here plus keep you all informed with the latest information about our favorite show, and I am excited about my new position. It's gonna be a ton of fun! Now, they may look a little "rough" at first, but that's because I'm waiting on Mario to come up with some awesome graphics for all of these accounts! And you know they'll be great coming from him! MySpace is way beyond out. I mean, not even Wheel itself has a MySpace. I've never had one; don't want one; don't understand it. It would be a waste really, in my opinion.

In the case of Twitter, always put "@ WheelofFortune" (minus the space) or #wheeloffortune. There's always a slight chance the account will retweet it. Someone who has control of the account should play Twitter Toss-Up, too.  |

Wheel followed us on Twitter almost as soon as I followed them. So, even though they already know about us, they really will now. I'm gonna play the Toss-Up game as much as I can.

Things are starting to shape up! Our Twitter account now looks awesome thanks to great graphics from Mario. He's also working on a new cover photo for our Facebook page, as well.

I can understand why MySpace would be out for you, as much as it would be for anyone else (some of the people I've had as MySpace friends have deleted their pages, because in their words, the site has become a haven for spammers). |

Bumping because it's relevant (I hope) -- the BAV Twitter account has confirmed the existence of three episodes from mid-June 1982! Just when I thought the classic Wheel well had run dry, I'm surprised yet again by what turns up. And yes, the relevant Wiki pages have been updated. Aside from the historical merits and the fun of original commercials, it's newly-surfaced daytime Wheel that I'd watch just to watch, as I always have done. |

Thank you, sir. We followed back. In case anyone is wondering who's making the Tweets, I make most of them, though Dylan and Jon have tweeted on it as well. Everyone on the staff has access to the account. Most tweets from a personal perspective are denoted by that staff member's name or initial. ...And fellow staff, you guys are free to play Twitter Toss-Up weekdays at 1 PM EST. I don't need to be the only one playing it every day. |

I wish had a chance to play TTU, but I'm at work while it's going on. I don't have a chance to check it much between 8 and 5:30 every day, so I'm thankful that Mario has been stepping up and helping out. ETA: And, if you'll notice, Wheel retweets us a lot; for example, yesterday...  |
