So, Season 30 is over, so what are you looking forward to Season 31? Here's what I'm looking forward:
- The pink $900 is upped to $950, the green $500 next to it is decreased to $400, the green $500 next to $300 and $450 is increased to $600, the purple $500 becomes $900, the red $800 upgrades to $850, and the blue $700 is changed to $750.
- The Bankrupt between $650 and $950 becomes an orange $700, and the Million-Dollar Wedge moves to it.
- The Free Play Wedge becomes a yellow $800, with the "Free Play" strip for Rounds 1-3.
- The Car Wedge is placed on the green $600. Like the Australian version, you have to claim the Car Wedge and solve the puzzle, then you are halfway there. Then you need to do the same in the following rounds in order to win the car. If there is no one holding the Car wedge at the end of Round 2, then it will be removed at the beginning of Round 3.
- The Prize wedge is retired, to make paying taxes less severe.
- The Big Money Wedge returns, with a value of $5,000, $7,500, and $10,000, plus, you guessed it, Lose a Turn and Bankrupt. It will be placed on the purple $900.
- One new Mystery Wedge is added in the Mystery Round, placed on the the orange $300. Another Mystery Wedge moves from the blue $300 to the pink $950, due to the Million-Dollar Wedge been moved to the orange $700. One new mystery prize is added: $7,500. Plus, a Bankrupt on the Mystery Wedge will change to an "Evil Bankrupt," marked with the skull and crossbones on black. This Bankrupt will take away not only your cash and prizes, but those from Round 1. Also, you will not be able to be in control for the rest of the round, and beginning in Round 3, the amount you win on cash wedges and in the Bonus Round will be cut in half, prizes don't matter. When a contestant reveals the "Evil Bankrupt" wedge, a higher-pitched Bankrupt whistle sounds, and their scoreboard turns black with the skull and crossbones for the rest of the round; after that, the scoreboard will be bordered in a darker color for the rest of the game.
- New Bonus Round prizes: $60,000, $70,000, and $80,000.
