Something that has intrigued me since I taped is how much Wheel has in terms of video and pictures of the contestants that they don't make available. During practice sessions, a staff photographer takes a picture of you standing at the podium with your hand on the Wheel. I understand that they want these pictures for promotional reasons, but a simple site where we could purchase copies or downloads of the picture would be awesome. I know I would have happily paid $40 or so to have that high quality image, as opposed to just grabbing screenshots from the recorded episode. I can't be certain, but I believe the photographer took pictures at other times as well.
Depending on the licensing agreements, I'd think they could also do that sort of thing with full or partial episodes.
So, does anyone know why they're so reluctant to give or sell those images?
