Figured I'd make a topic discussing Brazil's old version of Wheel.
To start things off, this collection of Brazilian TV shows. The Wheel can be seen at 1:28.
For those who want to know what everything means, mil means thousand. The top value is 1 million reais. Beside it is the Perde Tudo (Bankrupt; Lose Everything) space. The three yellow spots are Passa A Vez (Lose A Turn; Pass The Turn). The white spaces were the most difficult for me to figure out. Without a photo I have, I wouldn't have known that the white spaces are Dubra Tudo (Double Everything). My guess as to how this works is that if you land on either of these spaces and choose a letter that's in the puzzle, you double your score. If you choose a letter that's not in the puzzle, you lose your turn, but, if I'm right, you keep your money for the time being.

No replies since I started this thread more than two and a half years ago? I'm sure that'll change since someone at long last uploaded a full episode of Roletrando yesterday. It's from August 2, 1993. Enjoy!

The Bankrupt music reminds me of "The Gong Show".

If the timer reaches zero, does that mean neither player banks any money?

Exactly. Once the four minutes expire, the round has no winners.

Another episode has been uploaded by the same gentleman who uploaded the 1993 episode. This one is from Christmas 1992. The values are much larger numerically.

I thought I'd offer some tidbits about the Christmas 1992 episode. Noting that they played two rounds because they were doing a lot of discussions for what looks like a sweepstakes, they used the Round 2 layout for Round 1 and the Round 3 layout for Round 2.
Under normal circumstances, the top real values are as follows.
Round 1: 1,200,000 reais (turquoise as seen in the video below) Round 2: 1,600,000 reais (gold, copper, or bronze, whichever of the three) Round 3: 2,000,000 reais (silver)

Another episode, this one from April 30, 1993. Rosi is the returning champ with a whopping Cr$656,920,000 to her name! How will she fare against Neusa and Laci?
Top real values are as follows. Round 1: 2,000,000 (silver) Round 2: 3,000,000 (bronze) Round 3: 5,000,000 (gold if not bronze again)

Dubra Tudo (Double Everything) is wrong, is dobra tudo the correct name of the wedge, and when stops in dobra tudo, if the contestant choose a correct letter the score of the round is doubled

It may have been a typo when I put that up in 2013, but yeah, it's Dobra Tudo with an O. Anyway, an episode surfaced last month with that space in action. Looks like it's from the 80s. It was uploaded by, I believe, the gentleman who is in the middle podium.

It's weird: the nametags are the style the American version debuted in mid-1989, the Bonus Round uses the five-and-a-vowel format, and the set design is pretty much lifted from 1975.

It may be from the early 90s or the late 80s. Somewhere along there.

Clever that they handle overflow by just showing the cruzeiros in thousands (since scores always end in 000).
If it helps with dating, if it's later than 1986, then it's automatically 1990 or later (which I'd buy based on the nametags)—Brazil used the cruzado, not the cruzeiro, in the last third of the 1980s or so.

I remember seeing that when it was uploaded, roletrandoxd , and I'll see if I can try and make that Wheel soon, but I don't remember seeing these episodes from October 1992 before. The first video has episodes from the 8th and the 9th while the second video has episodes from the 12th and the 13th. I remember discussing those dots on the top value spaces with you. Looks like they existed after all! They were apparently just too small to make out among the glitter. I'll update those illustrations when I get the chance, but just give me some time first. Ooh, and you're going to love this! This is a short clip from May 23, 1982, exactly nine months into the show's run. This Wheel certainly looks like something I can make.
