Wheel usually uses May sweeps for road shows, but since we now only get one per season and they're now filming them for early-mid season, they have to think of something else. We'll see what they do next season when they won't have any milestone to celebrate. With the Hawaii shows taping in September, they definitely won't have any of the shows air in May, but maybe they will for November sweeps in place of Secret Santa.

A bit more info... The week of October 7-11 is Southern Hospitality, and Express & PP are in R3 this week (the Valentine's Day change was probably just a one-time thing that I'm sure will be explained when it airs). The cake resembles the Seasons 28-29 logo, not that I have any problem with that.  And I still have to love that they're all "Woo 6,000 nighttime shows!" three weeks late because May sweeps. |
