I recently found this on the wiki, but why do the Wheel staff apparently stop adding $5K to cars won in the Bonus Round in Season 31? I guess maybe to save money?

My guess to that is that they've got more expensive cars, meaning they're worth at least $30,000. Nonetheless, I'd prefer $30,000 over a $50,000 sports car, that is unless I can sell it easily for the same amount.

It's entirely possible they're just no longer mentioning it.

The Bonus Round car DOES come with $5K. This was made clear to the contestants before taping.....Bonus car comes with cash for tax & license ($5k); half car Win does not ( contestant responsible for tax and license.). I taped in Las Vegas a few days after this week's episodes.

Thanks for clearing that up, Julie! Looks like they're simply leaving it out of the copy.

Yeah, I thought they were leaving out the $5K as well...though to make sure they're still doing it, they still need to leave it in the copy...this is only the 4th season to have said rule as well as the $30K minimum.
