WNEM, the Wheel affiliate in the Flint Saginaw Bay City market announced that they will be pre-empting Wheel of Fortune to air a local Winter Weather Preview on Tuesday, October 29th. There will be no rescheduling of the episode.

I don't get why WNEM has to do this Winter weather nonsense every year. They freak out at the first snowflake.
Fortunately, I live in Oscoda, where I can also pick it up on WBKB.

My affiliate, WPSD, seems to do that every year too. I haven't checked to see when they are doing it this year, but it's kind of an annoyance because it doesn't show up on the TV listings - you have to check with the station itself. (And the information's not even particularly useful.)

Every fall, during football season, my affiliate, WKRN, preempts Wheel every Monday night for a Tennessee Titans show. It gets pushed to 12:35 AM Tuesday morning. They don't show the Saturday rerun either because of another Titans show. It sometimes gets shown on Sunday afternoon, but not always. They have a subchannel they could use for stuff like this. I know WPSD does, too. That used to be where I got Wheel before we got DirecTV...
