I just heard that one of the letter turners on Australia's version of "Wheel of Fortune," Adriana Xenides, has passed away from stomach problems and a ruptured intestine earlier today. She was only 54 years old.
God bless Adriana, and may she forever rest in peace.

This is very sad indeed, Will. Even though I'm not familiar with the Aussie version of Wheel, she will be greatly missed.

Adriana Xenides was the best Hostress when I grow up watching Wheel Of Fortune back in the 80s. Hearing this from an Australian Wheel of Fortune fan like Myself, The John Burgess Wheel Of Fortune era happen to be my favourite era of Wheel Of Fortune. I was gobsmacked when i heard this on the news. it was very very sad to hear, I even gave my condolence to John Burgess on Facebook. From a first time since for a long while, I haven't seen Burgo on TV till this Breaking news was shown. Same with Ernie Sigley as well. I watched on Channel Seven The Morning Show that morning when Larry Emder invited Burgo to the show to talk about Adriana, Same on Sunrise when John Deeks spoke to Kochie and Mel and showed some nice photos of Adriana and Burgo when Deeksy was the spokesman on the game show at the time. I was a huge fan of Adriana. She'll be turning Letters in heaven. Mark, I'll be happy to fill you in as I am very familiar with Aussie Wheel. Adriana Xenides was originally born from Argentina for her first few years then she moved to Australia from her childhood to the day she'd died. John Deeks (who's the game show spokesman announcer of the game show at the time) mentioned when he was interviewed on Channel Seven Sunrise that Adriana's intestine burst, Adriana has to be rushed to Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, sadly happened to be the reason for her death. Deeksy also mentioned that Adriana was a real lovely woman, She was a very lovely heartful person in reallife as well as on TV. She always use to shake the hands to the Audience and the contestance for coming to the studios itself. She even gave lots of money charity to the Guide Dogs of Australia, she was a real charitable person when It comes to guide dogs. As Mel from Sunrise mentioned which was true. "Too young to go, But too sick to stay." However Adriana has have a great happy life on TV when she was in a 18 year career on TV. However she did later on down the track did end up having a sad depressing time of her life afterwards which was very sad. She will be remembered alot for sure. R.I.P Adriana Xenides
