You know, I'm sorry, but that is not correct.

Yes, this is in a long range of wrong answers that went viral:

 - 9/19/07 - GLEAMING WHITE SAND BEACHES when the answer had NO -ES at the end
 - 5/15/12 - The MAGIC WAND incident (don't even wanna go that far...)
 - 12/19/12 - SEVEN SWANS A-SWIMMIN' when there was a G at the end
 - 9/17/13 - CORNO CURRO CABINET when it was, of course, CORNER CURIO CABINET
 - 10/22/13 - The IT'S OUT OF THE WAY controversy (WAY too controversial)

Crazy, right?

Well, that and it was shoved into Living Things instead of Song Lyrics because ooh, theme.

As for the incident itself, the biggest problem with it for me was that all the reaction to the ruling and backlash to a silent-on-the-matter Wheel meant far less noticed this the very next night.


Of course not -- you get more attention (and hence views) by going the "OMG WHEEL SUX IT WUZ AN AXSCENT" route than actually trying to point out when Wheel legitimately screws up.

I do have a fine line for hilarious:
1. Quality or quantity ("FISH LOVE", EN_O_ THE SHOW, or the numerous ____-BURNING STOVE missolves included).
2. I also include incorrect letter calls when there is only one letter missing from any incomplete word in the puzzle.

For regular rounds only:
3. The amount of money on the line for a single contestant must be less than $10,000 (the Jackpot value does not count, so "I HAVE THE WINE BY JOHNNY CASH" is also included).
4. If it does approach or exceed $10,000, the same contestant must either have cashed in $10,000+ already, or have a Free Spin available (also including 2/6/09's incorrect F on AL_ACORE and 5/10/12's "CARIBBEAN QUEEN BY BIFFY OCEAN", respectively - although the contestant had $9,100, she also had a 1/2 Kia tag).

The internet really only went after GLEAMING WHITE SAND BEACHES because she had a lot of money on the line. The solve itself was a simple mistake.
