So we've finally hit 1000 official members. Yay! ...of course, we've had more than 1000. Some accounts have been deleted over time. But we now officially have 1000 registered accounts on the member list. ...and, of course, the official 1000th member was a spammer. Too bad. Let's celebrate anyways? The actual 1000th member? Show alumnus Joe Della Ferra. This January will mark the site's fifth anniversary. That's quite an accomplishment. Here's to another 1000 members!  Keep on being awesome! |

And both 1000th members of both pages were goddamn spammers.  Seriously, though, this is great. Tempted to delete the spammer account, until we get a REAL 1000th member. At this time, 3 years ago, we had 182 members, including deleted accounts-now we have 1000 total counts (1078 with deleted accounts). Amazing what we've done in that time, from me running the site, cu's hiring, Mario's graphics and reddits, the site rename, Guint, Scott, Josh, Ryan all joining staff. Not to mention, how well we're noticed in the game show community as a big name with quick and first WOF news. Keep it up! Be awesome, but never settle for mediocrity. Be the strong site we are, and ramp it up a notch...because we can. Because we can make this site just a touch better to make sure foolish speculation, ideas, etc. aren't posted. To make sure we do this right, and the site has a long term future. To make sure we remain as reputable as ever, so that more will join, and be part of our site. We've done this time and time again-and this is all fantastic to see. You all are great, and the site wouldn't be without any one of you. At the very least, I think we should absolutely try for About.com's best unofficial site, even if the (eh) GameShow NewsNet is sure to win. We have to at least try, because this site is that good at what it does. By at least being a nominee, it has the potential to bring in even more members, recognition for those that want a site like this, and don't have it. We can and will. ~Jessica/Prizes |

Yes, because GSNN doesn't have several regular "commentary"-style things that haven't been touched in a very long time and a "flagship" show (WLTI) that constantly remains three or so months behind.  |
