Once again, a little late on this recap, but I'll fire the recap off anyway. It's from Teen week, Christmas 1986.
WHEEL! OF! FORTUNE!
Opening:
Jack: “Look at this studio, filled with fantastic prizes, fabulous and exciting merchandise! Including: Something for everyone, in the Christmas Gift Boutique! These sporty his and her quartz watches! And a sensational winter ski vacation in Colorado! Over $64,000 dollars just waiting to be won today, as we continue Teen Week on Wheel of Fortune! And now here's your host, Pat Sajak!
And now Pat will present “our own little elf” Vanna White!
Introductions:
Kathy Wynne – Going to school in El Camino, California. In the 9th grade. Taking microeconomics as part of a business class she is taking at Pierce College. She wants to go to college and study International Business, and then wants to be a fashion designer.
Leslie Lindo – A 9th grader going to West Lake School in Southern California. Likes Spanish and Math.
Victor Pizaro? - From Chalmette, Louisiana. Goes to Jesuit High School, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Wants to be a psychologist or work for the United Nations. (That's quite the contrast)
Game Spiel:
Pat: “$750 dollars top dollar value for this round, try not to hit Bankrupt if you do you lose your cash but not your merchandise, because even during Teen Week, once you buy a prize, you're stuck with it. That was a little humour and our Prize suppliers understand that.”
ROUND ONE

_ _ _ _
PHRASE
The puzzleboard is loaded up with a giant Red Bow and Mistletoe at the top of it. Kathy won the draw backstage, and she will spin the Wheel.
SPIN 1- And not a bad start. $400 dollars. She calls an L, but no L to be found. It's time for Leslie to give it a spin.
SPIN 2- Leslie will be very happy with this, it's a Free Spin! Always a good thing to have in this game (and tends to improve your chances of winning), and she will spin again.
SPIN 3- Leslie wants $750, but she won't quite make it, so the $500 dollars before it will have to suffice. She wants a T, and we found one T, and another T. That's a quick $1000 dollars + Free Spin.
SPIN 4- Leslie goes well past the Bankrupt and lands on $400 dollars. She calls an N this time. And there's an N. $1400 dollars + Free Spin.
SPIN 5- Leslie goes past the Lose a Turn and passes the red $450, and lands on $150 dollars. She calls an H, and there's no H. Leslie holds on to her Free Spin, and now Victor will get in the game.
SPIN 6- Victor's first spin will be a modest $100 dollars. He wants an S, and there's one. That will give Victor $100 dollars.
SPIN 7- And this time it's going to be $250. Victor calls an R, and he'll find double the letters, there are two of them. He now has $600 dollars. And he's going to spin one more time.
SPIN 8- Victor will be happy he spun again, because he'll get a Free Spin out of it! Pat tells him he doesn't have to spin again, but Victor goes for the Wheel.
SPIN 9- Well, I think Victor was probably hoping for better, but still, it's $200 dollars. Victor calls a Y, and there's one Y. $800 dollars + Free Spin
