Some thought just came to me about what the Wheel layouts may have looked like during the hour-long shows. I'm not asking anyone to make any layouts, especially since I may be wrong, but round 2 and round 3 layouts used during those shows may have actually resembled the round 3 layout from 1976. Another possibility is that the round 2 and 3 layouts from 1976 may have actually started around the time of these hour-long shows.
Again, I may be wrong, but it's something to consider. For almost two years, I've also considered the round one layout also being used for round two when the show premiered on NBC. www.deviantart.com/art/Possible-Early-1975-R2-Wheel-282791501 www.deviantart.com/art/Possible-Late-1975-R2-Wheel-282791765
If someone wants to prove me wrong on any of this, even with audience recollections, please be my guest. I'll listen.

The Round 1 layout couldn't have been used for Round 2. However, based on configurations, the Round 2 layout was used for Round 3 (with six different wedges including an extra Buy A Vowel and Lose A Turn). The details also state that Free Spin was only present for Round 1, and a second Bankrupt was added for Round 2.
For the hour-long shows, I would think it was the same as 1976. I also suspect October 31, 1975 was the last episode with the Buy A Vowel and second Lose A Turn wedges (just before major changes next week including the hour-long format). I don't know where $2,000 or the prize wedge were placed, but I do think it would involve the Round 3 Wheel setup.

About $2,000 and the prize, my best guess would be what most guesses I've seen for it are... $2,000 covering $1,500, and the prize wedge over the lowest cash value (the $150 near Lose A Turn)

The theory that I originally put forth two years ago (which is what WheelGenius' 1975 Round 2 Layouts are based on), I am about 99% sure is accurate. Here's why... Look at these screenshots from the April 7, 1978 episode: The $700 space almost certainly look like it is a place-on wedge like the off-model yellow $300 covering the Free Spin space was. The same can be said about the $900 space in the same round: The only thing I can't be sure of about this theory is what the higher amounts in Round 3 are covering. Here are those links from the wonderful WheelGenius: wheelgenius.deviantart.com/art/Round-2-wheel-January-1975-299327227wheelgenius.deviantart.com/art/Round-2-wheel-October-1975-299328522

I never noticed that until you showed us! Now I can see why you were able to make a guess for those values in round 2 and knowing which ones to make a guess on. Now that you showed us, that blue $1000 also looks like an add-on wedge. The orange $200 over $175 may have originated in 1975 then left alone for a couple years before coming back by 1978.
Thanks for showing us!

Converted to text and tables from the Wiki templates by W. Austin Higgins, this is what I found: For the 1975 premiere (minus the special wedge outlines):Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 | $50 | $200 | | $250 | $650 | | $100 | $300 | BUY A VOWEL | BUY A VOWEL | $350 | | $150 | $75 | $900 | $75 | BANKRUPT | | $275 | $400 | | $100 | $300 | | LOSE A TURN | $175 | | $450 | $600 | | $50 | $150 | | $200 | $200 | | $100 | $750 | $1,000 | FREE SPIN | $50 | | $200 | BUY A VOWEL | | $25 | $75 | $700 | $100 | $450 | | $125 | LOSE A TURN | | $75 | $50 | $800 | $200 | $100 | | $300 | BANKRUPT | | $175 | $600 | | $500 | $250 | | BANKRUPT | $500 | LOSE A TURN |
For June 7, 1976:Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 | $100 | $400 | | $250 | $650 | | $100 | $300 | | $400 | $350 | | $150 | $900 | | $200 | BANKRUPT | | $275 | $400 | | $100 | $300 | | LOSE A TURN | $175 | | $450 | $600 | | $150 | $150 | | $200 | $200 | | $100 | $1,000 | LOSE A TURN | FREE SPIN | $150 | $200 | $200 | $300 | $350 | $300 | $700 | $500 | $100 | $450 | $250 | $125 | LOSE A TURN | $300 | $500 | $800 | $450 | $200 | $100 | $1,500 | $300 | $500 | BANKRUPT | $175 | $600 | $850 | $500 | $250 | $500 | BANKRUPT | BANKRUPT | $200 |
I don't know if this was also the case for 1975, but I still can't explain why the $800 and $1,000 appear to be "on-model" while the $700 and $900 are "off-model".

While the Round 1 layout is from the premiere footage in the THS and the Round 3 one is from a debut promo the week before, as far as I know the Round 2 layout is pure theory by William. Same goes for the Rounds 2-3 layouts around the time the First Edition board game was released.
Hopefully, UltimaGanon's purchase of the July 15, 1975 audio recording will help matters a little, at least regarding the two-digit amounts.
