^ A "lucky letter" doubles the value of a letter call.

Remember that in this version, the value of the spin is not multiplied by the number of times a consonant appears in a puzzle. You don't need to solve to keep your points, though you must solve to "secure" your score and win any prizes (or in 1981-1996 and 2008, convert the score to cash).
