UK - Series 12 (Jane/Greg/Sandra) recap

Wheel Of Fortune! Where one spin of the Wheel could twirl you into some fabulous fortune. Today's contestants are:

Jane Griffiths: Has a degree in drama and English, from Chester (?)
Greg Saunders: Loves brass bands, from West Bromwich
Sandra O'Neill: Trainee chartered accountant, from County Durham

The top value on the Wheel is 1,000. That's not all, though. One of our contestants could solve the puzzle for an additional £100 note courtesy of John. Just solve the puzzle after finding the special letter. But before we even begin, someone must buzz in to a provided trivia question:

Question: Who are the celebrity parents of baby Brooklyn?
Sandra: Posh Spice & David Beckham (Correct!)


Jane can't solve it right now, so no £100 bonus.


Greg solves NORMAN COOK AND ZOE BALL, making him the first to choose from a showcase of prizes including a toaster/kettle combo.

Greg takes the TV/video combo.


Presenting the conflicting duo (1,000 and another BANKRUPT). But John will also add a mystery prize on 400. Before our next round begins, though, we have another question for the contestants.

Greg: Spain (Correct!)


Sandra solves YOU SHOULD BE SO LUCKY and earns John's mystery prize: a pair of body fragrances.

But she also gets to pick a prize from the showcase, possibly an exercise bike?

Sandra picks the Hi-Fi system.

Greg: Car racing (Accepted) (He was looking for motor racing.)


Greg solves NO SPRING CHICKEN. Before his prize, he can earn £100 more if he solves the puzzle below it in only one guess.

No guess. He does not solve LILY SAVAGE. Jane does after time expires, but she does not get credit for it.

Regardless, he gets to pick another prize from the showcase. Maybe a fridge/freezer! But there is also a CD package, luggage, a dishwasher, and a few more.

Greg wants the towels.


One more round, our points are still doubled, and one more question for the contestants.

But we don't have much time, so John will give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants will be worth...450 doubled.
