So since there was a thread on Wheel Across America, is there a puzzle bank of puzzles that were specific to college week in previous years? I'm sure short ones like Tough Exam and something about Spring Break could be a prize puzzle. I'm also reading the tips before taping thread, just seeing if anyone has anything new to add that already have the gold star.  |

See Guint's compendium, especially the category "College Life". Some key words I'd look out for... CAMPUS FRESHMEN SOPHOMORE JUNIOR SENIOR SORORITY FRATERNITY PAPER GRADUATE/GRADUATION PROFESSOR LECTURE TEXTBOOKS DORMITORY MAJOR/MAJORING ONLINE CLASSES BACHELOR STUDYING DEAN They are also fond of putting cheesy Phrase and WAYD? puzzles that relate to school or "mainstream" (I say that loosely given the show's current puzzle writing  ) stuff, particularly relating to the Internet. I'd especially anticipate INSTAGRAM appearing in a puzzle with this trend. Some actual examples... DID YOU GET MY TEXT MESSAGE? POSTING NEW PHOTOS ON FACEBOOK CAN I BORROW YOUR NOTES? CHECKING OUT VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE THAT'S MY IDEA OF STUDYING ABROAD THE BEST SPRING BREAK OF ALL TIME The last two may have been Prize Puzzles. Also, it's pretty much guaranteed that every B&A/Same Name will be themed. |

They had a similar puzzle to CHECKING OUT VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE in season 26 (like I mentioned). And the last 2 WERE Prize Puzzles.

I fixed it for you. And I knew they were PP's. Was there really any doubt given that A: They reference taking trips/traveling and B: They're sentences that people rarely or just outright don't say? |
