Well, I got some news for you, wheelgenius. If you give the center a 37.5-degree rotation clockwise for all four of the layouts (including the Major Prize layout), you should be good. I also have words about the template halves. The split between each half occurs as follows. Round 1: Between Free Spin and $90 and between $110 and $250 Round 2: Between $165 and $555 and between $340 and $210 Round 3: Between $165 and Bankrupt and between Bankrupt and $270 Major Prize (as seen in the first episode): Between Sewing and Fiesta and between Holiday and Bar. Look closely at the bottom in between the Holiday and Bar wedges. You'll notice a dark line. Major Prize (as seen in the Celebrity episode: Between Holiday and Telstar and between Holiday and Telstar. Again, same dark line between each of those. Note, however, the yellow wedges with black outlines (along with the sparkly gold wedges appear to be panels that can be individually removed from the Wheel and replaced. Guide lines (most of which appear to be white apart from the ones separating template halves) help out with where to put each panel.

Thanks for the info, germanname1990 . Know what else I found out? The round 1 layout's color pattern highly resembles that of our version from 1979 to 1986. The only differences are how "Free Spin" and "Lose a Turn" are placed, and that the TDV is on a silver glitter background. The next 2 rounds don't match ours though.

That's something I've actually known for quite a while. Who wouldn't have noticed that? I've even been trying to figure out ways to convey that via illustrations. Now while this may not be true for the New Zealand layouts, the layouts used in Rounds 2 and 3 on Australia's version has some similarities to the American version from the same time period, especially when it comes to the way the both Bankrupts are distanced from one another. Now like I said, I'm hoping to figure out the $500, $1000, and $2000 structure on New Zealand's version. And then there's this photo I saw in a Facebook group about classic Wheel a while back. Needless to say, I'm curious about this era.

Here's the progress that I've been making with the 1994 layouts. The red numbers at the right are mathematical guesses based on the rate of increase of each value.

If you take a look at the photo I provided two posts up, the one with the cyan, pink, and green contestant backdrops, I can now tell you that I had just stumbled upon a very lucky find while Googling for some Wheel of Fortune stuff from 1996.

Not having done any WOF artworks in a while, I figured I'd take the time to do all 3 rounds from that very season. The only problem, however, is that I couldn't make out the center of the wheel. So, without further ado, here they are. Maybe later, I'll do the round 1 layout with the "SURPRISE" wedge.

That was tough for me to figure out. I was actually trying to figure out a good view of it myself, but if you look at the 2:08 mark, right after the Suzuki is announced as the big prize, that's the best view I know of. It's mostly the same as New Zealand's previous center only with a gold circle, a just as gold ring bordering it, and silver bars within the circle. I hope to make a recreation of it sometime.

An episode likely from either 1994 or 1995 uploaded by the gentleman in the green podium. There is quite the number of interesting things to note in this episode.

Terry, the uploader of the previous episode, is back hoping to win that Mitsubishi Lancer, but in order to have a chance, he must beat Jacqui and David. Can he do it, or will one of his opponents have a shot at the car?

Tie Terry is back for his fourth day facing off against Bob and Keng. Will he win, lose, or tie?

Might as well share a fifth video! This one is against Margot and Jason.

Yep, I wanted to wait just a little bit to introduce that one until you guys saw the other four.
Terry and his Ties of Fortune have been serving him well over his four appearances. Will his fifth tie do the same, or will it serve Margot or Jason instead?

If you take a look at the photo I provided two posts up, the one with the cyan, pink, and green contestant backdrops, I can now tell you that I had just stumbled upon a very lucky find while Googling for some Wheel of Fortune stuff from 1996. {video snipped} That's from the last part of the run, and warrants some explanation: Phillip Leishman was fired after the February 2, 1996 daily show (#1,175), with Simon Barnett replacing him on March 4 (#1,176). Per Simon in this interview, Phillip told him that TVNZ boss Mike Lattin felt he (Leishman) was "too old [and] too fat" to host Wheel anymore. Celebrity Wheel, whose last episodes with Phillip had aired in December '95, came back on March 9, 1996 with Simon hosting and aired weekly as before...and was gone for good after May 18. The daily show followed suit on May 24 (#1,239).
