From the Washington State Convention and Trade Center, it's America's game! Welcome to Family Week!
To make sure they have the right experience, we have a Toss-Up ready:
Go!
Tim solves I'M BIDING MY TIME.
Today's contestants:
Jeremy & Tim (son/father): Jeremy is a University of Washington sophomore, and wants to major in law; Tim is a contractor.
Laurie & Judy (daughter/mother): Laurie is a biology student at Lake Washington Technical College; Judy is married to a retired coast guard.
Lani & Toni (sisters): Lani works with the nation's largest wireless company in the world; Toni is married with a son.
The Toss-Up is knocking. Answer it!
Go!
Tim solves PIZZA CUTTER.
Somehow, the $10,000 prize can put an end to a rainy day. Quite a shine! But only in this round:
At some point, most likely during the first spin, the Gift Tag came loose and covered the dollar sign on $350 instead of the 7 on $700. This is corrected by Round 2.
Perfection! Jeremy & Tim solve CABLE TV INSTALLER.
The prize will be a trip to Sun Peaks Ski Resort in Kamloops, B.C. (labeled CANADA) worth $8,546.
(Seattle to Kamloops. Maybe Pat's jokes about short-distance trips weren't that far-fetched after all.)
At least that rain makes the Jackpot shine a little brighter than usual. Maybe it will be hit this time!
Lani & Toni solve BATHROOM & FISH SCALES.
A little (or way too) hazy, but you should try it anyway. There are two Mystery Wedges. Flip over either a BANKRUPT, or a subcompact Kia Spectra GS worth $12,865.
Jeremy & Tim solve GETTING YOUR FAMILY PHOTO FRAMED to keep the ski trip.
Don't let this Toss-Up turn your mind upside down:
Go!
Laurie & Judy solve THE KEEBLER ELVES.
Of course, it's time for the next round.
DING DING! DING DING!
Speaking of time, it's quite precious. So Pat gives the Wheel a Final Spin. He gets you $5,000 + $1,000 for $6,000 a piece! Maybe blue can make up for the car.
Laurie & Judy: T ($6,000)
Lani & Toni: S (DUD!)
Jeremy & Tim: R (x5!) ($30,000)
Laurie & Judy: L (DUD!)
Lani & Toni: N (DUD!)
Jeremy & Tim: M (DUD!)
Laurie & Judy: S (Repeat)
Lani & Toni: B ($6,000)
Jeremy & Tim: F ($36,000)
The repeated S by the blue team was not acknowledged as a duplication.
Jeremy & Tim solve GREAT BARRIER REEF for a massive round total!
BONUS ROUND:
No matter what, they'll be happy. But how about $100,000 to top it off? Their family in the audience cheers them on!
Tim spins that Wheel for more gold. They take an envelope from 10's digit and must face this puzzle:
RSTLNE gives them...
Will CDMA get them to good fortune?
...sadly, no.
They just laugh in nervousness, and they do not solve THIGHS. Then Pat pins the blame on Vanna for wearing the wrong type of dress.
But who needs an extra $25,000 right now? They've already got a lot! They're leaving with $53,696!
