Anyone ever buy these? When they first came out a few years ago I bought the first 5 and then couldn't find them anymore. Thought they were discontinued because I couldn't find anything about them online either. Then about a week ago I went to a B&N and lo and behold, there was a new one! I snatched it up on the spot.

Remind me how many were in the older volumes? I'm on campus and my old ones are at home; this volume (V55) felt like it had less puzzles but I might just be remembering wrong.

I am always on the hunt whenever I go to my local Wal-Mart or magazine shop to see if I could find the latest issue. I have a huge stack of them, waiting to be filled out.

I've heard of these but I've never seen it on shelves (though I have seen other "Word Seek" variants with different themes). Good to know that they're still making them. I'll have to look out for the latest one.

Since I got mine at a B&N I think that'd be your best bet.

I found one at my local Stop & Shop (AKA Giant). Can't wait to start filling it out. It's the first time I ever did one of these.

Have fun with it, Mario! I've been carrying one (Vol. 16, Issue 9, Nov. 2010) in my work bag and work in it every so often. I try to see how few words I need in order to solve the puzzle. I don't really know why, but I got in the habit of marking the words that cross through the puzzle blanks. I'm only about halfway through the book, and I've noticed that the difficulty has ticked up just slightly, mostly by constructing the search in such a way that, at the start, more than one candidate is possible to reveal letters in the puzzle blanks.

Whoa, the current one is Vol. 56, Issue 3, Mar. 2014. I thought this one was the first new one out in a while, but I could be wrong.
I also made a habit of marking the letters that are part of the puzzle. I circle the words in black pen, add the puzzle's letters in red pen and also underline those letters in the word list in red, almost like a throwback to the old Red Letter Puzzles. I wish the puzzles were a bit longer, though, but the category variety is nice, including the now-retired Fictional Place (haven't gotten to that one yet, but I flipped through the whole thing).

So does anyone know if there is another volume for April? I haven't seen any, but I might have been looking in the right places. Each volume is always discontinued on the first of the next month. I've only done about 15 puzzles in my March issue so far, though.

Mario, During my trip to the local Walmart last night, I saw (but didn't buy) Vol. 58, issue 5 (May 2014). I didn't see any April leftovers.

I have a lot of these books collecting dust that need to be filled out. They kill plenty of time when you're waiting for something/someone. If anyone wants copies of the puzzles, drop me a message and I can send them your way (if I have the time).

Thanks, Sean. I was at the same Stop & Shop where I got the March issue last Tuesday and I didn't see any April copies. I'll look for the May one when I get the chance. If that's Volume 58 and the March one is Volume 56, then I guess there was an April issue.
