The first purge in 2011 took some other moments that haven't yet resurfaced. Ones that I remember are a Season 20 bonus round where FINE WINE was filled in completely, and the lady in 2003 who solved KELSEY GRAMMER AS DR. FRASIER CRANE for $7,200 with only the R's and S's.

It also took a funny clip of a 1997 BR where a woman guesses "FART...FART--no..." on GUARDIAN, and a Puzzler round of "B_G T__S" where the audience couldn't hold their laughter. Those clips were originally uploaded by temptation1979ga1 who was famous for his huge collection of Price is Right episodes and clips.

It really does suck that kingskip's hard work of providing Wheel episodes is down the toilet now. Even sadder, the Firefox plugin, Download Helper, doesn't download through RuTube.
At least users on other sites are not affected, and as of now, I am going to download whatever I can, in case Sony does a repeat of June 2011.

in case Sony does a repeat of June 2011. If Sony was responsible for the kingskip video takedowns, then I'd say they already have -- the number of uploads kingskip had may have been as much as, if not more than, the amount that got taken down back then. If Sony begins takedowns on YouTube, then it'll definitely suggest that a changing of the guard occurred at a high enough rung on the ladder to be making these kinds of decisions -- as I said earlier, Sony's attitude toward Wheel and Jeopardy! uploads for about the past two years seems to be "Unless you're trying to make money off our stuff, we ain't gonna bother you. We might put ads on your videos of our content, but that's as far as we'll go."

Sorry for the necropost, but this is to inform you that my Dailymotion account (pannoni3) got terminated yesterday, likely due to numerous takedown claims. Unlike YouTube, DM doesn't have a strike system in terms of being taken down, but it seems lately that a multiple number of sources have aided in submitting claims in removing videos, and a shift in management in 2017, when the site was last redesigned, had a greater focus on such claims. Up until a couple months ago, I'd only get a claim rarely, about once every other month or so. But this sudden uptick has likely meant that a major shift in policy is starting to gain hold, and I did have a major purge of Jeopardy! episodes in late 2017, which forced me to shift to Google+ and now the Internet Archive with those posts. As for why I got sacked there, Dailymotion's terms of use does mention about the right to remove a user's account after vague number of takedowns have occurred. It's probably around ten a month, since I got hit from Viacom for some MTV videos, Sony with a few remaining Jeopardy! episodes they missed the first time, and who knows what else. The way to go is to look for those small-market sites that likely wouldn't care as much, since essentially I only post these for fun, and after all Sony lost the Betamax case back in the '80s. With that said, that's 73 Wheel episodes I had posted as recently as last weekend that are now gone and replaced with "Content rejected" screens whenever I try to access them. I'll try to eventually get them over to the Internet Archive, but of course, since it won't embed videos, will only provide links for them. I don't have many more Wheel to post (about ten episodes or so from the late '00s), but it's just a shame that Sony should just allow $75 per episode to all, not just the contestants involved. It's still high enough that it would encourage trading. The bottom line is that if you see an episode, download it before it's gone!

I hate it when wheel of fortune episodes get taken down especially the ones with the contestants who recorded their own episodes and that’s just not right. About the Internet Archive, that’s a better alternative than stupid YouTube and freaking Dailymotion!

I'm sorry about all the Wheel episodes that had been removed from Rutube in 2014! If you want to upload any full episodes of the syndicated nighttime Wheel, you'll have to try Internet Archive. I've uploaded clips of credit rolls from various episodes of the syndicated nighttime Wheel there.

Here's the first post on this thread since 2014. I have good news for all other Wheel fans. I created my own library on the Internet Archive, and the library has my clips from syndicated Wheel and the 1984 revival of Jeopardy. My Internet Archive library doesn't have any full episodes of both shows, instead only having short clips from both shows, especially clips of credit rolls.

So we are totally ignoring the two posts from 2019? Regardless, there was no need to bump this thread with information that is for the most part useless (you don't even link your archive page; we just supposed to hunt it down?) And, mostly credit rolls? y tho....
Don't bump threads that are this old unless you have truly relevant information to share. That is all.
