From Sony Pictures Studio, we bring you a Halloween special of America's Game! Wheel of Fortune!
I could try to explain to this trio how a Toss-Up works...
Go!
Shakespeare drags it out and describes before solving WE NEVER CLOSE.
Here's who (or what) we found on the street:
William Shakespeare (playing for the Amanda Foundation)
A female genie (playing for the Boys and Girls Club)
Osment, a gnome (playing for the USO)
Osment presents Pat with two red boots, but they are both for left feet.
They didn't have Wheel back in the day. I fear how Shakespeare will handle this round:
Quoth Pat: J...where exactly would that J go?
The genie solves A HAUNTING MELODY.
Next, they fight for a possible Jackpot.
Shakespeare solves AND THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT rather loudly, but not for a loud total, just the house minimum.
There's a shiny one-third $10,000 space on the Wheel, but where will Osment look?
Apparently Osment doesn't know what BANKRUPT means.
Shakespeare guesses COUSIN ITT & UNCLE FISTER.
The genie is correct with COUSIN ITT & UNCLE FESTER, but for the house minimum again.
(Strangely, no Toss-Up is played after Round 3.)
The sun rises soon, so Pat must give the Wheel a Final Spin. Consonants are worth $600 + $1,000 for $1,600 a piece. Shakespeare begins:
Shakespeare: S ($1,600)
genie: N (x2) ($3,200)
Osment: K (DUD!)
Shakespeare: A (DUD!)
genie: R ($4,800)
Osment: G (...I like being here.) ($1,600)
Shakespeare: A (Repeat)
genie: T ($6,400)
Osment: W ($3,200)
Shakespeare: O (x2) ($1,600)
genie: D ($8,000)
Osment: E (x2) ($3,200)
Shakespeare: B ($3,200)
genie: F ($9,600)
The genie solves FUDGE BROWNIE POINTS. That's more like it for a round total.
Fluent and not-so-fluent each receive the $10,000 minimum for their charities.
BONUS ROUND:
The genie will play for $25,000, but must solve this bonus puzzle...
RSTLNE gives her...
She wishes for good from IGDB:
And she easily solves IN DISGUISE for the $25,000, bringing her total up to $36,250 for her charity!
In the final segment, the trio is revealed to be in disguise, and is actually...
