For anyone that has taped and air, did anyone try to get a copy of the publicity pictures for your appearance for your scrapbook (or to use as your profile pics  ) and if so were you able to get it directly from the publicity department or did you have to go through your local media if they did a piece? I'm just wondering so I know if I can simply ask the publicity department for them or if I'll have to ask the local paper to see if they can copy me on what they send them. |

Are you referencing the individual pictures we took at the wheel during rehearsal? If so, the publicity dept sends your solo picture right before your air date. In my case, I got the picture on 2/19 and my air date was 2/24. Hope this helps! |

Far cry from the days Jeopardy! used to give everyone a glass frame to take home and would ship a printed 5x7 to you later, that's for sure!

They advise that if the press wants any more pictures, they can contact the publicity department. On one of my local newspaper's site, they had a photo of me and Pat. I used that for my fb profile pic  . Unfortunately, they only email the one to the contestants. And yes, my forum avatar is from the blog I did for Wheel's site (also on my fb page and they make sure it shows that it is copyrighted) |

Just when I was going to upload the picture that I received 3 hours ago, I see this thread! Great timing! Lol. I received the email 3 hours ago pretty much saying:
The attached photo was taken while you were on set and I wanted to provide it to you for your personal use. If you decide to post the photo on social media, I encourage you to remind your friends & family to tune-in and watch your episode when it airs.
If you are contacted by any print or online press who would like to interview you, that’s no problem at all. Please just remember not to reveal your winnings until after the show airs. If they have any additional photo requests or questions, please feel free to have them call [insert name] at [insert number].

The contestants that I aired with for March 3-7 [including Dan] received their pictures the Tuesday before the week showed! Dan and others had a whole 10 days to ogle their studio pics lol. They pretty much rubbed it in my face for a little bit, in a friendly manner of course. #CurseYouNumber6!

They took an individual photo of us at the wheel and a group photo since it was College Week. I wanted to see about getting both. I'll email them the week before.

I thought they were going to send a group picture, too. We went up in groups of 3. But they only sent the solo picture. Hope you can get your group pic!

I sent an email to publicity and asked for a photo (nicely) for viewing party invitations. They sent me two photos, including my avatar. There was a third photo on the minisite. I never got an "official" staged photo. And I don't think they took any that day... Maybe because we were on the road.

Would someone be willing to share the email address for publicity? My show aired 3 years ago when it wasn't a practice to send publicity photos. But it won't hurt to ask if they still might have them. The only picture I have is a screenshot I tried to take while playing the video on my computer. Surely they still have your photos. I've seen them retrieve photos from 2005 about a year or two ago. I had to ask for mine the day before my show aired. I got them that evening, and the others from my group got theirs at the same time. I emailed again after airing to get some extra photos. They sent me 3.
I know some people who aired after me are still waiting, but that may be due to security issues in relation to the big Sony hack.

I asked for a few of mine pretty much a day or two before the whole Sony hack mess happened. Luckily the photographer had some backed up on her personal computer and sent them to me from there. She sent me a bunch--eight in total--but that's probably because I said I was going to use a couple of them for the web version of my game show story for Marketplace.
(Which, by the way, airs January 19 on your local NPR affiliate...provided I don't get pushed back again!)
