Thanks. I love how every recapper on this forum has their own style. I understand that creativity is valued, but is this really a good thing? Couldn't we come up with a standard for recaps combining the best elements of all to have an official style? This would help in searching and consistency going forward so that people aren't using different symbols. It would also define what is truly valuable to note in a recap and what doesn't matter. But the different styles reflect what different recappers value in a recap, and for that reason nobody is going to agree on a format. Trying to come up with a common format would just cause a bunch of fighting. It's good as it is. If it ain't broke, there's no need to fix it. |
