So I've been reconnecting with some of the contestants this week and we've had some interesting stories about people coming out of the woodwork after their show aired or publicity about their appearance came out. Couple of the female contestants who already aired had some creepy older gentlemen trying to add them on Facebook. Wondering if anyone else had some interesting post-show social media experiences.

I haven't had any of that, but then again I'm not a young college student anymore.
But now that I think about it, my husband was shown on camera. That's probably why I haven't had any friend request from strange men. Yeah ...let's go with that as the reason. ( ego reinflated )

I'm probably not one to speak since I pretty much had the ultimate post-show social media experience, but I have marriage proposals from all ages and genders, numerous unanswered friend requests, people from the Philippines trying to convince me that they're my long-lost cousin, etc. just to name a few... Oh you know... that kind of fun stuff...

dreamoffields wins the thread. As for me...we'll find out come April 28! I doubt it (unless it's among my own circle of friends), but you never know, there are some strange people out there. I'm really curious about what emilburp has to say, since he's gotten extra exposure after the fact...surely he's got a few good ones, no? EDIT: Turns out he beat me to it.

I had one girl tell me she loves me on Twitter. But apparently a couple of the women have had men way older than them trying to add them on Facebook. I think the guys got a couple random adds, but nothing weird. I had a few former teachers and people I went to elementary/middle/high school with add me. emilburp : BTW, weren't you my long lost relative?
