With the $100K/$1M spot still never being spun this season, I'm afraid that if we do end up going through this entire season without having it being spun once, the producers will freak out & do something like the short-lived "Million Dollar Wheel of Fortune" did in Australia at the start of its run- add one $100K envelope to the mix until it's won (this obviously wouldn't apply to MDBRs; that version also did that w/ the car before it was canned), even though we don't have returning champs any more in our neck of the woods.
My suggestion would be to bring back the $65K/$75K/$85K envelopes from Big Money Week & maybe even make the top non-million prize $250K (10 times the original big cash prize). You come up with your own suggestions if you like.

With the fact that the $1,000,000 was won about two months into its debut, I'm not concerned. It's not like Pay The Rent on TPiR which had a 2 1/2 year drought, leading the staff to resort to desperate measures. If Wheel had a drought that lasted into Season 28, then they probably would have freaked out there.
Season 21 is also a reason I'm not concerned.

They should bring back returning champions, although I don't think it should be an unlimited run like Jeopardy, perhaps a 5-day limit? Of course that means that would have to start taping in order and give up sixth shows entirely, but it could be done if they wanted to.
The $250K regular top prize is a good idea, I support that. There would be a budgetary issue with that, but perhaps they could remove the Prize Puzzle, I can only imagine the money they would save by doing that (and I sincerely doubt that many would miss it). They could also have a weekly sponsor for both the BR and 1/2 Car.
My idea for a revamped prize structure:
1 x $250,000
1 x $100,000
1 x $85,000
1 x $75,000
1 x $65,000
1 x $50,000
1 x $45,000
2 x $40,000
3 x $35,000
6 x $30,000
6 x CAR
This way we'd get more variety, but it wouldn't break the bank for the show. I hope that the sheer amount of 30K envelopes seen this season prompts the show to at least make some change to the envelope distribution.

mechamind is EXACTLY RIGHT. There is no reason to freak out about the $100K/$1M not being won this season, especially since there is precedent of it happening before.
This is just silly to keep up.
