I have a question about old prizes from the 1980s-2000s.
In the old forum, I was told that the prizes back then more a lot more expensive than moderately-priced stuff on The Price is Right, which makes me wonder.
Have they ever offered furniture as Wheel prizes? Dinettes, living rooms, tables & chairs, bedrooms, beds, stuff like that. I do know that there were sometimes outrageously expensive room additions and home improvement stuff in the old Bonus rounds, but I'd like to know if stuff like that were Wheel prizes. |

Yes, especially in the Goen era. Almost every show in the Goen Daytime era had some piece of economy furniture as a Wheel Prize. (Goen Daytime had 3 Wheel Prizes per show.) |

What about nighttime shows? I can't recall any furniture prizes on the nighttime show. The nighttime show seemed to favor extremely small prizes or really big prizes and not much in the middle (Where economy furniture would be.) Does anyone know if Furniture was ever offered as a prize on the Nighttime show? I've watched a ton of nighttime episodes but I've never seen one where furniture was offered as a Wheel Prize. |
