This was an average show. At least Jordan helped us get a MDBR.
My rating: Low 7
This week's rating: 7
And now prepare for Josh's big episode.

Lovely that a player from my hometown made it to the MDBR w/ a decent maingame total. I wish she had my ESP on the bonus puzzle, though.
Score: 7

For the Veterans Day 2013 episode, I thought TU3 would be NEW HAMPSHIRE with no letters showing. Turned out to be SAN FRANCISCO!

And BTW the first Millionaire Maker puzzle was a repeat of 11/8/02, R1, in Seattle.

Is this the first time a MDBR contestant hasn't had anyone in the audience? Don't recall Pat ever holding the wedge during the round before.

Apparently so. Kind of awkward display, but it's essentially just like when they take the Wild Card to the BR.

Also, when's the last time we had an In the Kitchen that was neither a Toss-Up nor a Speed-Up? Seems the category almost never shows up in the maingame anymore.

And wow at the word COLANDER. Jordan sure breezed through that round, no problem.

Also, when's the last time we had an In the Kitchen that was neither a Toss-Up nor a Speed-Up? Seems the category almost never shows up in the maingame anymore. It was also used in R1 just earlier this season, on 10/04/13 (PROGRAMMABLE COFFEEMAKER). Before that, 11/17/10 (S28), where it was also R1 (COUNTERTOP MICROWAVE). Every use of ITK in between was either a Toss-Up or R4+. It should be noted that the three latest R1 uses can all fit on the board for R4+, though.

I'm pretty sure In The Kitchen was only R1 with this episode because it was a Sears themed puzzle. We might see more when we get to the actual week!

Toss-Ups: The $1,000 one used only one line. R1: The Million Dollar Wedge was picked up on the first spin. R2: It’s been a while since I’ve heard the “only vowels remain” beeps. R3: There were two consecutive duds on the 1/2 Car, and that caused a null cycle to happen. R4: Jen’s missolve in the Speed-Up was because there were six letters instead of five in the last word. BR: Jordan is by herself. Episode Rating: 6/10
