After reading some recaps and watching some episodes (particularly 3/11/2013 and 12/3/2013), I feel like I have the ideal WoF winner: one who wins all cash - NO featured prize, gift tag/shopping spree, trip, or car. Just cash. Why? B/c they can do whatever they want with it!
Now I'm wondering: who is the ideal WoF winner to you?

My ideal winner is someone who plays the game well. I like my contestants to buy vowels early instead of waiting to build up money in the round. I like my contestants to not leave multiple multiples on the puzzleboard when they solve. More and more so these days I find it hard to get behind many contestants when I watch so I'm just like... blah... next show  |

My ideal winner is someone who doesn't win thanks to the Prize Puzzle and, if he/she wins it, at least knows how to play, buying vowels when necessary, picking the repeated letter in high values...

Lest you forget, Genius...as per your original conditions for your kind of winner, I do believe I fit that description, do I not?
It's also pretty hard to argue against someone who sweeps the game, but even so, the real winners are the people who are up on stage in the first place. Think about it--for every person that appears on the show, how many people are sitting at home thinking, "That could've been me..."?

-activates trap door-  But no seriously, I agree with Josh in saying that everyone who makes it on the show is considered to be ideal, knowing all of the twists and turns we had to endure to get to that point. The contestant coordinators managed to pinpoint us as ideal, so I'd agree with them in doing so! |
