Week of July 28th: Girlfriend Getaways Serious question: does Friedman have any say in what episodes/weeks get reshown? Anyway...recap links with notable (in my opinion) moments, mainly because I'm feeling snarky this morning  (in all seriousness, I'm sorry if I'm stepping on your toes with this, Mario): * "Hard BR"-level R1 puzzle gets 62 results on Google; ultimaganon's sarcasm-filled post sets the tone for the week (M)* "Rhyme Time" TU2 also at least two things that probably shouldn't be named on this show^; math error costs a team $350; Google shrugs at overfluffed R1 and R3; Mario's S31 logo draft and wheelgenius' MDW on a team's shoes (T)* TU1 puzzle feels really uncomfortable; "TAIWAN FLIGHT"?; fun P&V convo (W)* Spingle on $3,500; several repeat puzzles; Jess makes her only post in this week's recap threads and sums up every themed puzzle in about two sentences (R)* BR shutout; Mario sums up the week pretty well (F)This week should've been given the "DO NOT RERUN" sticker, not just for the gameplay being on the low side (plus the guaranteed trips being so expensive) but because of the puzzles being...well, what they were, that being "pretty frickin' uncomfortable". /plus, y'know, how said week denied Jess a spot on the show //^Urban Dictionary says it's an excuse to get wasted all day; IMDB says it's...well, this |

I think most NBC stations will be showing NFL coverage instead of my episode repeating, unfortunately. I'm hoping My local station will re air it another time.
