You know how there are several popular recollections of various WOF moments and missolves from the 80s and 90s that you see scattered across various random forum threads and article comments about WOF (outside of the game show community), yet many of them are not on YouTube (like "E.T. TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE" and "...I DON'T GIVE A DARN")? One of them, "YOUR MOOSE IS COOKED", has surfaced thanks to a relative of the yellow contestant. Googling ["your moose is cooked" wheel] gives several recollections of this, including a listing on Stupid Game Show Answers, and one of the results mentions a family Thanksgiving gathering, and indeed this episode aired on Thanksgiving 1984 (nighttime), which is probably why it's remembered a lot. Poor Nancy.

Other missolves/wrong letter calls I've seen general-public recollections of that have quietly surfaced recently include "HOCKEY HALL OF FAME INDUCTS WAYNE GREKITY", "FANCY T**T", and "BARBECUE S_IT". Oh, and "BUTTINSKY", of course. (I have the Season 13 press kit which mentions that that round was the longest in WOF history, though I would think the "OXIDIZED" round took way longer. Perhaps that facts sheet was outdated)
