Check out what happened. If we could somehow see the full episode, maybe we would understand how they would give this much money under these circumstances.

I believe what happened is that with that round win, the show has officially surpassed 10,000,000 Euros in total money given away.

That is a possibility. Because I couldn't see Spain's version offering ten million euros to just one contestant, not even on a series finale. Because that's the equivalent of just over $13.5 million in U.S. currency. No American game show has even offered that much to a lucky player. You had Super Millionaire and Power of 10 (and recently Spike's reality show called Bigfoot Bounty) offer $10 million, but no game show has offered more than that.
One top of that, if a contestant won 10 million euros on Spanish Wheel, we would've known about it almost instantly. It would've been so big of a deal there would've been a ton of YouTube uploads of this within minutes of this thing airing.
As for this school thing, it was a school band that just so happened to be there when this event happened.
I had to ask if anyone knew what this was all about. What about one of our members who had played Spanish Wheel? Do you know what this is all about?

Yes, this contestant overpassed the quantity of €10,000,000 given in the show's history. He won a car directly, without solving the Bonus Round. During the previous shows, the hostess was tolding to the viewers every two or three rounds how much money remained to reach the €10,000,000. I believe what happened is that with that round win, the show has officially surpassed 10,000,000 Euros in total money given away. it is exactly what happened. They also gave to the lucky contestant, called jorge if I remember well, a diploma as "souvenir". Jorge is the host. The contestant was called Ángel if I don't remember bad.

My fault... I've just checked and the really lucky guy was called Cristian! Normally I don't remember names of contestants... It was a really big craziness becuase they played the rest of the game with a lot of confetti over the wheel (it was only the second round xD). By the way, I think you can watch recent La Ruleta episodes here, in Atresmedia's official website. I have an English friend who watches episodes by this page, so I think it will work for you. They have the last 5-6 episodes, and more if you pay I think.

I really like the Spanish edition... it's so colorful and joyful, reminds me the late '90 Italian editions... And, although I cannot speak Spanish, I can still follow decently the show because of the slight similarity between Italian and Spanish!!

Checked the link out as well. As an American, turns out I can watch some episodes, but there is a lock indicating you can't.
BTW, Spain's also got themselves a Wheel umbrella? Awesomeness is awesome! I know Poland, Germany, and even the States have one.

Well, you can watch for free the last 5-6 episodes. The rest of episodes are locked if you don't pay.
The umbrella is a promotional prize for summer (they offer it since the first days of May), and it's worth €150 (it has its own wedge in the wheel). It's a beach pack ("Lote de playa"). It's not only an umbrella, players also win two towels and two hats.
