Jack Clark's seventh-to-last nighttime show, a six-round game with a fun moment where Pat has the stagehands raise and lower the $25,000 sign. Plus, by this point the goofy-looking off-model $200 is now an even goofier-looking off-model $300 in the same font. Also has the commercials, which are always nice to see, although WMAR makes a couple of ill-advised moves after Pat and Vanna sign off...
One promo is for the film Above the Law (released April 8, 1988), "now playing"; two others are for car deals ending May 3. The WMAR voiceover during the fee plugs (yes, really) notes that the upcoming newscast will look at the weather for Friday and the weekend, suggesting that it's Wednesday or Thursday. Airdate is now known; see below.
The presence of an off-model $300 puts this after Gerri/Marla/Kevin (which still has the off-model $200, and is probably best known for Pat and Vanna doing the replacement fee plugs after Vanna gets her dress soaked), making this the latest Clark-era footage I know to be around; he still seems to sound like himself, though.
