There was a link on the show's site to where you could play the slot machine, although it stated it wouldn't be available via the casino itself until September 2nd. It wasn't until today, the 4th, that it became available.

Yeah you should see some of the stuff they use on DD. The classic 80's R1 wheel. Plus the LED displays the switched to with the Neon set.

For those who use DoubleDown Casino, there is a new Wheel of Fortune slots available for play. Kinda odd though how on the main screen (if you're playing via Facebook) they use the early-mid 90's layout...

Yep, they're using the 1991 Round 1 layout, albeit with the $200 next to Lose A Turn tripled to $600, like in Gametek's 1989 arcade game. BTW, I captured some screenshots.  |

Anywho, saw an ad for the slot game on OkCupid and it used the wheel from the pilot show. Buy A Vowel wedge and everything. To keep it sort of current, they threw in the gold Wheel logo from a few seasons before. It's like... could your graphics department not create their own. Instead they just pull from a Wiki page and copy and pasted some objects together.

I saw another ad for this where the January 1975 Round 1 layout (without the dollar signs) was used. |

I saw that on a YouTube video of someone playing a demo of it. And here's some other news I think you're going to like, SmashWhammy. It's not on DoubleDown, but GSN Casino has Wheel of Fortune Classic Edition slots. |
