I am looking for an apparently very obscure PC game from the early 90s. I believe the game used the 92-94 theme song, and was made by gametek. It had a very distinct visual style that I can't really describe, so I attached the only picture I could find of the game.
If anyone could tell me the exact name of the game and the year it was released, or even better, where I could download or buy it, I would be very grateful!

It's called Wheel of Fortune Deluxe Edition. It was made by Gametek in 1994 for MS-DOS and Windows 3.1 (1993 for the Super Nintendo). You can find it at many abandonware sites, although they incorrectly say it was released in 1991. Gametek also released this for Windows 95, and I've been looking for that specifc edition for many years now with no luck. One reason why I'm trying to find this is because the 3.1 edition is not easy to run on XP let alone Vista. Another is that the 95 edition is likely to have more enhanced graphics and better color display. Anyway, here's a site you can download it from. www.myabandonware.com/game/wheel-of-fortune-deluxe-1avBesides the Vanna White edition for the NES, there were indeed some Wheel of Fortune games made for the PC and the Macintosh in 1991, both of them being Vanna White editions as well. Although I have no Macs at all, I have the edition for the Mac, and I am desperately trying to find a Mac that can play this (as the current Mac OS is too new to operate it). You can find the version for MS-DOS at some abandonware sites, although they incorrectly list it as the 3rd edition. This is also worth a download, being the best ever MS-DOS game I played. www.myabandonware.com/game/wheel-of-fortune-3rd-edition-k1If you play the DOS Vanna White edition, I recommend you use DOS-Box. If you click on the icon to run it, it will run, but not in the correct way. You may run into problems this way too. If you don't know how to run DOS-Box, please send me a personal message, and I'll try to help you out. Okay? Hope all this helped. Have fun!

Hey guys. This is my first post on this forum. Some of you may know me on other forums as shieldsy100 or shieldsy101.
Anyway, I just downloaded the Wheel of Fortune Deluxe that was mentioned a few posts up, and for some reason, I can't seem to type letters. Is there something wrong. What should I do?

You can't run the program in Windows XP or any newer OS. DOSBox would be your best bet to get it to work. I have played the game on Win95 and it works just fine.

The deluxe edition was just what I was looking for, thank you!
I am having the same problem as shieldsy, however. The game won't seem to let me pick letters. I tried running the game in DOSBox, but when I try to run it it says "This program must be run under microsoft windows." Any ideas?

Hey, no problems,
But like I said, there are problems running it on XP, but I remember running it on Windows 98, and there were no problems.
I have Jeopardy Platinum for Windows 95. I installed it on my XP computer, and although installation was slow, it still worked well. Chances are the Windows 95 version of WOF Deluxe would do the same thing, but I checked almost everywhere and asked people for that specific version. No luck. If anyone here at the forums has the WOF Deluxe for Windows 95 (not the DOS or 3.1 versions), please let me know. I'm obviously not the only person looking for it, thoe.

I've heard of the WoF you are looking for, and I have been looking desperately as well, with no luck! I hope we can find it someday. On the other hand, I haven't heard of the J! Platinum! What's it like? Do you have photos you could share? I would love to see, and to play it, too!
