Woah, it's amazing. Surely this person used Visual Basic or something else... I would like to do something similar.

George, let me tell you this, it's better in form, function, and aesthetics, than Wheel's official one they use, that is used in the secondary auditions, by far. I've seen your great hosting, show, etc. before sadly forgot to tell you this until now.
As for the OP, check out tonight's DPG Finals, might be of interest, for a certain reason.

Actually none of it was Visual Basic. It was all layering. A layer for the reveal, a layer for the blue screens, a layer for the letters, and the a layer for the solve reveal. It was set with animations and timing, nothing really too complicated. Just tedious more like haha. I've changed it again so it looks a little more flashy with added animations for bankrupts and express.
Well thanks for all the great compliments. I wish I could get bigger and more enthusiastic crowds to raise the energy level up a bit. That was actually a pretty decent group but it's like people don't know what to do sometimes haha.

Well, I did a PPT with with the Spanish puzzleboard, but it was without animations. A layer for the white spaces, under it a layer with orange spaces (they get marked in orange in the Spanish version) and another layer with the puzzle itself. When the puzzle was solved I simply removed the layers

Well what I do is I set a single animation for the puzzle to come in using a wipe from the left. Then next is the blue layer and I start with the vowels then to the consonants. You have to set one animation for each letter group using appear, or whichever you like. Then with the letter revealed layer you have to do the same thing and match up that with the blue later. I use wipe from the right so it kinda looks like the letter is being turned over but really it looks like something the French version used Lastly, I use appear for the puzzle reveal after a solve starting from the left in .01 increments. Maybe someday when I have some time I'll make a video and go into detail about how I set it up.

holgerfischer, we generally frown upon members bumping threads that have been inactive for more than 30 days. In addition, you were the one who opened the thread--surely you got what you were asking for the first time? There's no need to ask again.
