I saw it, and I am planning on making the Wheel layout.
Now in case you're wondering what the small text is on the red-orange $100 space, it's $100 (in quarters).

Did anyone notice some errors? One, one of the L's is against the blue background. Two, the Wheel has 23 spaces (Szerencsekerék anyone?). As a result, one overhead shot has the wedges misaligned.
Well, that was [BLEEP] easy.

Dear God, this guy's unfunny. He's like a TMZ host: smug as can be, and constantly going out of his way to make as many unwarranted mean spirited jabs as possible. Seriously, I clicked out as soon as he trotted out the old "lulz, only elderly people watch game shows" line.

Yeah, I get that his whole routine is supposed to be based on throwing shade, but he went too far with the "old people" comments here. Not helping Wheel's reputation among the "college crowd". The show's getting too similar to "The Soup". At least that show never throws shade at Wheel or its fans whenever they report on it. That being said, I LOVED the visuals of the parody. They got just about all the details of the set right, even putting the words of the title on the scoreboards during the Bonus Round, and they did a great job with the category strip (I imagine they just took one from the YouTube video and erased the original category, but it looks seamless). I like the idea of a hoagie Prize/Gift Tag, and I loved how "Vanna" was texting during the Bonus Round. Assuming their Wheel still has 72 pegs (the layout looks superimposed at some points), I'd buy it from them. And you got to give them props for not even uttering the word "million". EDIT: I just found out that Tosh.0's studio is less than two miles from the Sony Pictures Studios. Was he too cheap to rent out the set for an hour like Conan did, or did he just not want Julian to show his face down there again?

It was nice seeing Julian able to laugh at himself figuratively and ride out whatever T.V. appearances he can make (I LOL'd when Julian said, "Wheel of Fortane" in the bonus round). With that said, I did think Tosh's jokes against Vanna were quite mean spirited. I enjoyed the humor he was trying to do against Pat's political views, however it seemed like one of those situations where "I can see the comedy, but the jokes themselves fell flat." I wonder how the university admins felt about Julian's appearance considering he was wearing an IU sweater for this segment. Also, I take it Tosh isn't a big fan of Alabama. And I also wish "Ride the Wheel" was an actual wedge when I played

I have to agree with you Joe. It was more uncomfortable to watch than it was funny. That being said, really tired of Wheel contestants getting extra publicity for their fuck ups and then various media outlets making Pat and/or Wheel out to be the bad guy. It's almost like the concept of rules and regulations go out the window.

This is the first time I've watched anything of Daniel Tosh's show, and boy does he suck in the humor department for the most part. Set and props were pretty good, though (and as Mario said, thanks for not uttering "million"), but as stated above Wheel players who get noticed because they screw up (such as Julian) really shouldn't be getting free handouts and extra publicity. Pretty sure this isn't what King World was thinking of when they did the "Whose Life Will It Change...Tonight?" promo in '86... That's the first "old people" joke, 46 seconds in (and only about 20 seconds after this guy starts talking). Wow, he rattled off four of the most basic categories, ones the show's been using since 1975 at the latest. And this is right after the above! The part from 2:46-3:23 is actually pretty good, since it's just casual(-ish) talking about Julian's missolves. Also, "Middle School Week" would actually be slightly inventive and different and interesting, which is why they had to make it up for this. Julian looks like he'd rather be anywhere else by the end. I don't blame him. Tosh.0's studio is less than two miles from the Sony Pictures Studios. Was he too cheap to rent out the set for an hour like Conan did, or did he just not want Julian to show his face down there again? I think it was Wheel who wasn't gonna be cooperative. What a wonderful parting shot.

That being said, really tired of Wheel contestants getting extra publicity for their fuck ups and then various media outlets making Pat and/or Wheel out to be the bad guy. It's almost like the concept of rules and regulations go out the window. If that's how you feel, you should just ban all game show blooper specials. They exist solely because of people, wittingly or unwittingly, doing something stupid. It's also something that gets people talking and the media might as well talk about it if everyone else is. Also, Wheel's had some other noteworthy moments that weren't bad for them. Their biggest moment of the year was undoubtedly Emil, and Trent also got some serious exposure after his show. In any case, it's the nature of the beast and not all of the times does Wheel/Pat get made out to be the bad guy. I think in this particular situation with Julian, everyone was clear that Julian was at fault. All that aside, I liked it. I like Tosh's humor. It's an "OMG, he did not just say that." type of thing wrapped in dark or gross humor and sometimes that's people's cup of tea and other's it is not. Joan Rivers made enemies with a similar style. I don't know if Julian was truly tired of being there or was just acting. Tosh brings out odd behavior from his guests for his Web Redemptions/Remixes.

Came back from the dead just to talk about this.
I watched it tonight, and I loved the jokes. Even the old people jokes. And the Vanna White being a skeleton one. Tosh's humor has always made me chuckle, no matter how immature it may be. Then again, I'm a twit who likes those kinds of jokes.
I loved some of those weird wedges, like the sandwich one. They also got the music on the spot, which made me happy. Really accurate job.

Actually, all things considered, I'm surprised they didn't pull out "Changing Keys" like most parodies do. Yeah, but for the most part the clips in those specials aren't contestants making mistakes that got ruled wrong and were followed by a crapton of backlash on the show/host by social media for "HE HAD D ANSER WHY U RULE RONG!". Even then, game show blooper specials have become a lot less fun than they used to be, primarily due to an overreliance on the same 35-40 or so clips that have all been played out ("September" isn't funny anymore; "in the ass" isn't worth showing if you're gonna censor it; etc.). It's also something that gets people talking and the media might as well talk about it if everyone else is. If it's something good like Emil or Trent, sure, but the media really shouldn't jump on the bandwagon of "HE LOST OMG MILLION BUX". Then again, it seems they don't really care so long as they're being talked about -- "Screw the fact our presence puts added pressure on game show contestants to do well, if they screw up we can and will humiliate them!"

If that's how you feel, you should just ban all game show blooper specials. I didn't say anything about bloopers. Bloopers would fall under RIDING A BROWN/WHITE HORSE a couple weeks ago. I said fuck ups. For example: Julian with his 2 horrible missolves and the wrong letter call with thinking that a person would be THE WORLD'S FASTEST CAR OR Paul and his botched CORNER CURIO CABINET OR The chick who said SEVEN SWANS-A-SWIMMIN' even though she had called the G before she solved.
All three of these people had their 15 minutes extended because the general public, for some reason, cannot understand the basic concept of rules for a WORD game. Like their just supposed to hand over money to these contestants that completely botch pronunciations of words that aren't exceedingly difficult.
And to put Daniel Tosh and the late Joan Rivers into a similar category is kind of an insult to Joan Rivers. More often than not, Daniel Tosh can come off as that guy who tries to be funny while not being asshole but all anyone sees is one giant, gaping poop chute.

Then again, it seems they don't really care so long as they're being talked about -- "Screw the fact our presence puts added pressure on game show contestants to do well, if they screw up we can and will humiliate them!" The news hardly has anything light to talk about, so they pick up the first thing that falls to their feet and run with it. Also, as loathsome as it is, some outlets like to use Twitter/Facebook/Social media/etc. posts as sources or interviews for their stories. And the media is going to jump on with the rest of the audience because A.) You don't alienate your audience and B.) They probably think the same thing. It isn't common for them to run a story without checking everything, even thought that's their job. It happens. Cracked has what amounts to an infinite-part series showcasing wrongly reported stories by the media and shared online.
First off, if we're going to talk screw ups: Then we can bring up "Alligator and Frog" from Family Feud, the numerous people who've answered "Orange" to "Name a yellow fruit." Those aren't bloopers (the word has really been misused). Those are answers of blatant idiots who either froze under the lights or aren't that bright. Those are just two examples too, that I find to be no different than what Julian or Paul have done. Second off, it's a nature of the beast kind of thing. We have these wonderful services now that didn't exist then in YouTube and Twitter. Their basic concepts are to share and preserve the thoughts and interests of people. YouTube more than anything has become one of the great capsules of history as more and more is uploaded to it. We now live in a world where once you're on TV, that isn't the end of it. Sometime that's something great, and we can watch Emil's improbable solve for years to come. Sometimes that's something not great, and we're reminded of the screw ups, but that's the world we live in today and unfortunately, that means dealing with the troublemakers. Also, no one was on Julian's side. I think it was pretty clear that Julian was to blame for his screw up. No one thought the show screwed him out of money like Paul or "Seven Swans A Swimmin'". And to put Daniel Tosh and the late Joan Rivers into a similar category is kind of an insult to Joan Rivers. More often than not, Daniel Tosh can come off as that guy who tries to be funny while not being asshole but all anyone sees is one giant, gaping poop chute. I wouldn't call it an insult. I love Joan Rivers, and this woman would make a joke that, before you started laughing, you'd groan at first. It's a no apologies type of style that many have adopted and put their spin or schtick on since Joan broke through and it is in that vein that I called their styles similar. I probably wouldn't be shocked to find that Tosh considers Rivers to be at least a slight inspiration. Whether or not he's living up to the style Joan trailblazed or absolutely butchering it is a matter of opinion, but they are certainly similar in the sense that Tosh isn't going to apologize for his brash jokes, whether you find them funny or not. I think Daniel Tosh's aim is exactly to look like one giant, gaping poop chute. He revels in it. Like I said, that's not everybody's cup of tea and I can see why. We could go through a list of comedians and find people who find them disgusting and unfunny. Also, is there any true way to insult Joan Rivers?

There were still people playing the "GIVE IT TO HIM!" card. It just wasn't nearly as bad as those other two controversies. IIRC, there was a live viewer poll about Julian's mispronounciation on GMA and the majority said he should have been declared correct since he filled the puzzle in. Like with the CURIO thing, some people were like "IT WAS A MILLION DOLLARS ON THE LINE, DON'T BE D*CKS! YOU GUYS WERE JUST BEING CHEAP!"
