Guys, I got into Wheel of Fortune in January 1993 when I was just two years old. At the time, I have been infatuated with colorful objects such as street signs and national flags. When I saw an episode of Wheel, I just fell in love with all it's colors.
Dee Dee (from Dexter's Laboratory): Ooh, pretty colors!
Yes, indeed, Dee Dee. They are pretty. Anyway, my first ever video game was Wheel of Fortune Deluxe Edition for the SNES, which I got for my 8th birthday. A few months later, I saw the SEGA Genesis version, and I just had to play it. The problem? All I had was a SNES along with the WOF game and a couple Super Mario games. The solution? My cousin had a Genesis, which he lent to me in late 1998 if not early 1999. In the summer of 2001, I wanted to play Wheel for the Genesis again. So I went to my cousin again. This time he lent me his Genesis library, which included Sonic 2 and Sonic & Knuckles. I was skeptical about Sonic at first (he looked too cool for me), but after playing the two Sonic games, he just grew into me. That's how I've been a big fan of Sonic The Hedgehog now for the last 13 1/2 years. I love Wheel and Sonic so much that I've done crossovers between the two series. In fact, my Sonic fursona, Billy Gnehm (GEH-nim), is the host of my version of Wheel of Fortune.

Now I'm sure you're wondering why I've colored the $5000 and $10,000 spaces pink and purple respectively. Well, it's an ongoing tribute to the prototype of the 2004 unreleased game Wheel of Fortune Live Play (the Wheel in the game's prototype had a pink $5000 space and purple $10,000 space) which I should not have missed out on when it was on Ebay in late 2006 for $15, half the price of it's intended cost. For reasons I don't want to get into, I did. Only one person bid on it. Nonetheless, I still remember the photo and have plans to draw it based on what I remembered. If anyone who somehow has a unit reads this, please show me what it looks like and how it works. That's all I want at this point. If I'm lucky enough to get my hands on this coveted gem, I'll be sure to post all the photos and videos every Wheel fan will desire. Even when I do, I'll keep my $5000 and $10,000 in those colors (pink and purple).
People have talked to me about getting on Wheel of Fortune only for me to tell them how hard it is. I also have doubts about the show hiring elites such as myself as many members of the BAV Boards that have been on the show ended up smoking the competition. The next time the WheelMobile comes to Chicago, I'll try if I can get to it's location reasonably. Hopefully, they're have $750, $850, and $950 on the Wheel by then.
Now, speaking of "On the Wheel," I know our good buddy MarioGS won a wedge valued at $350 while a YouTube friend won the old glitzy $1000 wedge. Well, I am happy to say that I too just won a wedge, or should I say bought it. Yes, I BOUGHT it - for $96 (including tax since it's coming a short distance from Bloomington, Illinois to my Sweet Home Chicago). Even though it has no cash value on it, this wedge (used probably back in the early 1990s, around the time I got into the show) is still going to be a nice addition to my Wheel of Fortune "Collect"-ion.
