So, Chad Mosher, one of our own who's been on Jeopardy!, Million Dollar Password, and Millionaire, taped his show today. I met Chad at the auditions in Detroit, and I thought he was one of the only people who showed any real potential onstage. Congrats to a fellow Michigander for making it on! Now, it's my turn…

I got to attend Chad's taping and had a great time! And, just to make you all even more jealous - the audience got a AMAZING prize from the sponsor for the week. Wait for it..........

A generic week like Fun & Fit shouldn't have a sponsor.

Like it or not, Wayoshim, everything is becoming more and more commercialised and sponsored. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of seasons, all weeks are sponsored (even the generic America's Game ones) or on The Price is Right, portions of the show, like certain Pricing Games, are branded by a particular sponsor.

...portions of the show, like certain Pricing Games, are branded by a particular sponsor. With the existence of the Prize Puzzle, plus easy to win trips on The Price is Right, I'm seeing a trend. I also heard that the short-lived Crosswords offered trips as a bonus, which is out of place for a show that had smaller winnings. (Not that I have a problem with small winnings, as long as the show itself is done right.)

...or on The Price is Right, portions of the show, like certain Pricing Games, are branded by a particular sponsor. Considering that the ideal world for Price would be that ALL the prizes are sponsored in some way, I highly doubt that they'd need to have particular games having certain sponsors.

A box of Shredded Wheat! ...What. I know the show has money problems (thanks, Sony!) and Harry got screwed over by the NFL early this season (thanks, hackers!), and I know it's sponsored, but still... Shredded Wheat for the audience?! Uh...huh. Good to see you had a great time again, though. I also heard that the short-lived Crosswords offered trips as a bonus, which is out of place for a show that had smaller winnings. Crosswords offered a trip in the bonus round throughout, but they also had two smaller ones as "Crossword Getaways" for the first part of the run. Several of them were to other places in California, like Pismo Beach and Concord.
