Excellent work on the articles, Josh. There's one thing I want to ask you: Since season 31, Wheel has been doing sponsors for the Mystery Round. Would the sponsors have to pay if the $10,000 was won and would they get a free commercial when it wasn't won?

Josh, I think you need to have a word with your editor. Good article, though.

I read the Golden Road thread one more time. At first, it didn't add up, but now I see that the 5-hour jet prize was not C-I-L. That had to be the absolute worst Showcase plan (mostly thanks to the C-I-L arrangement) in the post-Dobkowitz era, and that's putting it lightly. There may have been weirder prizes, but it would be difficult to find out all the cash plans for those as well.
Well, at least in terms of air time, a Showcase win is still a win in my book, much like a Bonus Round win regardless of prize. So being the top winner on a single game show is quite an accomplishment, but two is even better.
