I've been dreaming up some Wheel layouts that I would use on my own version of the show. They are entirely my own ideas, and yet are loyal to those seen on the real deal. My layouts are outlined in the breakdown below:
ROUND 1: 600/400/700/800/900/700/500/350/SPECIAL/850/900/2500/600/1250/550/650/1000/450/750/LOSE A TURN/800/950/500/BANKRUPT
ROUND 2: 500/SPECIAL/700/550/950/900/1000/750/500/3500/700/BANKRUPT/600/800/LOSE A TURN/1500/850/600/1000/900/800/650/1250/BANKRUPT
ROUND 3: 750/650/700/LOSE A TURN/1000/900/550/800/500/1500/850/BANKRUPT/700/1000/500/900/600/SPECIAL/5000/950/1250/800/500/BANKRUPT
ROUND 4/LATER: 600/1000/900/2000/LOSE A TURN/600/800/700/10000/500/1000/BANKRUPT/700/850/1500/550/800/750/SPECIAL/900/500/950/650/BANKRUPT
The SPECIAL spaces are for prizes and other things like SURPRISE, JACKPOT, EXPRESS and such. If anyone has ideas on how to improve my layouts, please let me know.

Hmm...
Are the wedges listed in clockwise or counterclockwise order?
How much will vowels cost with these Wheels?
Depending on the vowel cost, it seems a little extreme to have a top dollar value of $10,000 in Round 4+, unless you use the "Oreo" $10,000 prize and make the regular top value $5,000 or $7,500.
Good ideas, though. I might visualize them someday. If you have a Wheel-making app such as YouSpin or SpinnyWheel, it's fairly easy to plan layouts. There is also wheeldecide.com, although it's not as user-friendly if you need each wedge to be a certain color.

First of all, the wedges on the Wheel are listed in counterclockwise order, as you would see it being spun on TV.
Second, the vowels are worth $500, double of what they are on the show.
And for the record, I did toy around with the idea of a $7,500 space in the last round, though I can see now why I may have made a steep jump from $5,000 up to $10,000.

^ You're like me. I also prefer counter-clockwise order, though either way could drive the other side crazy.

After perusing some recent recaps, I've decided to apply the following designations to the SPECIAL spaces: ROUND 1: PRIZE, covering up a third $600 wedge ROUND 2: Same as ROUND 1, but used for a different prize, and covering up a second $650 wedge. Also, since the two $1,000 wedges are directly opposite each other, I'd designate them both MYSTERY wedges ROUND 3: JACKPOT ROUND 4: EXPRESS/$1,000. Also, the $10,000 wedge is now a $7,500 one Now all I need is a willing and able artist to draw up my creations!

So many colors, so little time! Well, for Round 1, the Wheel would have the following (in counterclockwise order): green 600/yellow 400/blue 700/purple 800/red 900/pink 700/orange 500/green 350/PRIZE (covering a yellow 600)/blue 850/purple 900/glittery blue 2500/red 600/pink 1250/orange 550/green 650/yellow 1000/blue 450/purple 750/LOSE A TURN/red 800/orange 950/pink 500/BANKRUPT
For Round 2: blue 500/PRIZE (covering an orange 650)/green 700/pink 550/purple 950/red 900/purple MYSTERY 1000 (covering a purple 400)/blue 750/yellow 500/glittery purple 3500/orange 700/BANKRUPT/pink 600/purple 800/LOSE A TURN/red 1500/yellow 850/blue 600/purple MYSTERY 1000 (covering a pink 450)/orange 900/green 800/pink 650/purple 1250/BANKRUPT
For Round 3: pink 750/red 650/orange 700/LOSE A TURN/yellow 1000/green 900/blue 550/purple 800/pink 500/red 1500/orange 850/BANKRUPT/yellow 700/green 1000/blue 500/purple 900/pink 600/green JACKPOT/glittery white 5000/yellow 950/green 1250/blue 800/purple 500/BANKRUPT
Finally, for Round 4 and up: purple 600/orange 1000/pink 900/green 2000/LOSE A TURN/blue 600/red 800/yellow 700/glittery green 7500/orange 500/pink 1000/BANKRUPT/green 700/blue 850/red 1500/yellow 550/purple 800/orange 750/blue EXPRESS with yellow-font 1000 (to be removed before Round 5, in which a pink 1250 would take its spot)/green 900/blue 500/red 950/yellow 650/BANKRUPT
On all Wheels, the LOSE A TURN and BANKRUPT spaces are white and black, respectively.

As for the add-on cards...
FREE SPIN Round 1: Pink $700 Round 2: Red $900 Round 3: Green $900
WILD CARD Round 1: Red $800 Round 2: Green $800 Round 3: Blue $800
1/2 CAR Round 1: Blue $700 and yellow $1000 Round 2: Green $700 and blue $600 Round 3: Orange $700 and pink $600
GIFT Round 1: Purple $900 Round 2: Orange $700 Round 3: Pink $1000
And finally, the Bonus Round wheel will have 24 slots to slide the prize envelopes in, and use the AMERICA'S GAME design.
Now's the time to design my wheels with the elements I had above (by either smashwhammy, MarioGS or any other talented artist who is familiar with the real wheel). I know I'll like what I see, and I plan to use them in my upcoming shows...if and when the time does come, that is.

On second thought, I'd like to change the Round 1 SPECIAL to a FREE PLAY, and there'd be no FREE SPIN tokens anywhere. The others, though, still apply. Also, the Bonus Round Wheel will have one slot per space.

On second thought, I'd like to change the Round 1 SPECIAL to a FREE PLAY... ...which would cover a blue $650 wedge.
