I have a big semi-life size wheel of fortune that I made if anyone's interested in seeing it. I just spruced it up, repainted the base and put on some new wedges

That was quick @mario! Also, I have some questions for you about artwork. I downloaded all of your colored wedges, and I have a value I'm using that there is no vector/space for: an emerald green sparkling $4,000 wedge.
Wheel pics are coming up in just a second. I'm using a cell phone camera. So warning on potential quality of shots.

Here you go guys! Wheel is about 3 feet in width. Base was bought from Home Depot. I bought a wooden lazy susan from WalMart, centered it, and drilled four holes into it, and screwed the lazy susan into the giant wood circle. Easy spinning mechanism Bare Wheel Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 Round 5 Lol @ me still using the Season 30 title card as my prize wedge--I just like how it looks Credit for all the wedges go to MarioGS and his fantastic thread that has every wheel wedge value in every color. I like this layout better than the current season 32 wheel. I wanted a few more 4-digit values, but didn't want to go overkill on it, or pull a mid-90s wheel with vastly different layouts from round to round. For multiplayer games, the second TDV wedge would replace the pink $1500 and the Free Play would occupy its normal space. Thoughts? Suggestions? Lemme know! -A

I'd be very surprised if you had any wins under $10K with this layout. Looks good. Reminds me that I need to add glitter to my stuff. #lazy

Interesting that Free Play only stays on the wheel for two rounds. You might be the only person on these boards who does that.
Was the $400 on which the Million Dollar Wedge rests intentional? I just find it odd that everything else is over $500 and then...boom, random $400 space.

There hasn't been an under 10k win...but there has been lots of money lost on bankrupts. Taking each peg as a space, there are 5 bankrupts on the wheel for three rounds.
I'm still trying to figure out that random 400 space lol. I'm thinking either a 600 space or make that purple 1k a different value and move the 400 up to 1k. I'm ppen to suggestions.
Thanks for all the feedback!

The thing I noticed most was during your mystery round wheel where you had two $1000s in pretty close succession. Maybe just leave it as $800. Hell you have enough 4 figure numbers on your wheel without it.

I'll probably move it to cover the red $1,000 space. Thanks for the feedback though! *thumbs up*

I love the way you colored some of the big values, especially the $5000 and $10,000 spaces in Round 5. They may not exactly be the same colors, but they still remind me of the way they were colored in the 2004 Live Play prototype.

Thanks germanname1990. I used Mario's wedges as examples, and went to JoAnn's to look for the appropriate colored glitter paper. The good thing about the wheel's size is that one sheet of paper is all you need for a single wedge, so a full piece of glitter paper is all I'd need, and JoAnn's has a bigger selection than Michael's. I'm wondering if Mario would do white wedges with all of the vector values---I'm thinking as a way to save ink, I could buy colored cardstock and just use that in my printer---it'd be smoother. -A (Good to talk to you again German---you revitalized my interest in WoF a few years back after I had a lengthy hiatus) P.S. I've settled on the orange wedge being $600. If the real version can get away with two values being $50 apart on their wheel, I'm sure I can, haha

I would love to see this thing in action. I love the $7500 wedge and the return of the $10,000 wedge. I absolutely love it!

Thanks guys! I'll post some spin videos. Bought some single sheets of cardstock to upgrade the wheel to a smoother look (and to save money on ink)!

$10,000 is getting a makeover to a darker purple glitter---similar to the $4,000 wedge's color that Mario created. I've also got a coral-colored glitter page, which I think will be the new $3,000 space.

BTW, I've seen every multiple of $50 from $500 to $1000 here with the exception of $750 and $950. If you were thinking about increasing the $400 to $600, knowing that an adjacent value is $50 less, I don't think it would hurt having that space or one of the $900 spaces valued at $950 as well as one of the $700 spaces increased to $750.

I think we'll go with the green $900 next to the $1,500 and the red $700 next to the blue $550 getting that makeover. Thanks for the tip! Ink levels are low, and I don't wanna chance it on the actual cardstock, so the overhaul will take place within the next few days. I did some white-colored wheel spaces for the values from $100-$1000, with $1250, $1500, and the vectors for 2500, 3500, and 5000 as well as the Bankrupt wedge using Paint.NET's drop shadow effect. Credit for the vectors goes to MarioGS, as well as the blank wedge template. All I need to figure out is how he got the glittery outline to his values, and I'll be in good shape! Does anyone else know how that was done?

Good work! Wedges look really good. Just one point: personally I don't like seeing two $850 and any $800 in the initial wheel, so I'd change the yellow one for another $800... Also one more $600 would be great, replacing one of the three $900 (on my own, I would replace the orange one, that's what I'd have put instead of it in the actual show).
Only one question: what's that piece of cardboard over the purple $650?

It's an Insurance tag. Pick it up, and you and your cardboard are safe if you hit a bankrupt. Works the same as a free spin token as it is redeemable only once. There's one cool catch though: you don't have to use if it you don't want to. If you bankrupt on a measly $500 you can hold onto the tag and take the penalty. You go bust on over $10k and some cardboard...well you know...lol
