That "INSURANCE" tag was designed by me not too long ago, just so you know. So, I'm honored. Also, I based it on the insurance marker given for rolling a double on "High Rollers".

You're very welcome, and thank you for such an awesome gem to use in my games. Apologies for not crediting you---I had forgotten who had designed it. I feel that it would be a much more useful piece of cardboard in the current WoF landscape than Free Play...just my two cents. -A

Final layout of my wheel, after taking feedback from you guys, and getting a little more creative....let me know what you guys think. I think this layout works, as it's not overkill on too many different values, plus it retains the base value of $500 without getting exaggerated, plus the values are evenly spaced out. This will be it---time to print out those new cardstock wedges! (Color scheme remains the same as the current S32 wheel)
BANKRUPT $1500 $950 $500 $600 $750 $500 $650 $800 (MDW) $550 $700 $900 $500 (TDV) BANKRUPT $900 $500 $650 $850 $1,000 LOSE A TURN $700 (FREE PLAY/2nd TDV) $650

Prepping the new wheel wedges for the posterboard backing. Also, new iterations of the $3,000, $4,000, $10,000 and Prize wedges (took me two years to finally update that prize one!) -A

Looks good so far, but there's just one thing to note. Bankrupt never had a shadow effect as far as I know. And there's the purple $10,000 I use. I also use it right of Bankrupt, and so does the Live Play prototype I keep obsessing over.

The shadow effect is something that was part of the vector set I received, so I decided to keep it--I actually like it, tbh. Since printers don't print "white ink", I just cut out the black cardstock, and then I printed out the vector on off-white photo paper, cut and glued it. And now....after hunting at Michael's, and getting new ink, I present my new permanent "life size" wheel layout...That glare from the separated wedge pieces is packing tape placed on the top and bottom of each wedge, so the specialty wedges can be placed on any of the 21 available wedge spaces (LAT, Free Play, and TDV are excluded). Thanks for the kudos on the prize wedge. So far, the 30th Anniversary logo is my favorite, but I figured, I'd do each season's logo as the prize wedge, to save ink on printing a ton of wedges for different prizes. -A

I actually like how BANKRUPT looks. It pops out at you and is eye catching. Makes you want to be aware of any danger you might receive. Love it!

I am trying to get a video going. I should have taken one a few days ago...first time using it in game and my first final spin (not measuring my spin) was on the pink $5,000!
By the way, my next project is a life size wheel. My girlfriend is artsy as well and wants to tackle the next big thing.
For the life size wheel wedge being 28" long, do I print the blank wedge template sized for 2 pages by 2 pages?

It's best to print out the numbers individually in that case.

Thanks guys! @mario: I'm trying to get a hang of tracing out a giant blank wheel wedge for use as a template, and then using your method of number printing. That's why I'm curious about all sides as far as dimensions go.

Just curious, what would you use as the base for a life-sized Wheel? I've seen lazy susans and such for miniatures, but never seen someone attempt a full-sized Wheel...

One of the #WintheWedge finalists (Clayton) made an actual life-size wheel. Furthermore, a FB friend of mine, and member here, is going to try to bring/create/outsource a lifesize wheel to his convention, so it may happen. I'd like to know this too, to let him know specifics. So stay tuned for something neat here...

Just curious, what would you use as the base for a life-sized Wheel? I've seen lazy susans and such for miniatures, but never seen someone attempt a full-sized Wheel... The largest base I've seen for a wheel pre-cut and sanded smooth from Home Depot has been 36", and that's where I bought mine. Anything else, I would think you'd have to either a) Look online or b) Go to Home Depot, say "Hey I need a 90" diameter wood cut circle". I'd go with the latter because looking online might be expensive, and then shipping as well would drive the price up. Also, I'd use the 36" circle as the spinning mechanism and then buy the lazy susan/ball-bearing piece and go to work. I'm actually really excited to start this wheel. All I've gotten as far as measurements go from Mario is that the length of the wedge is 28" long. If the normal 1x1 paper wedge is around 10", I'd probably have to do some mental math to get the right dimensions. Thanks again to Mario for his info: Wedge length- 28" Wheel diameter- 90" -A P.S. Here is a shot of the current set of TDV wedges and some prospective color alternates for those wedges to spice things up!

Here is a template for table-top games, if anyone wanted to use the custom layout I came up for my games. Credit for the wheel template goes to Germanname, and the vectors are courtesy of MarioGS, modified using Drop Shadow and some other effects in Paint.NET. Also, thanks to Woffan2008 for his tutorial on getting the glitter outline for the numbers.

Updated the colors by doing better research on the hues. What do you guys think? I believe these are truer to the TV version than my previous ones. The ones pictured are for a new tabletop version to replace my 10-year-old one. -A
